As I live close by, usually a 20minutes drive. Robina Flannerys is my local. My partner and I always, usually 90% of the time eat/ consume organic were feesible. About two weeks ago I purchased a Jat pumpkin & a few lemons and rocket. To my surprise when getting home after being checked out by the staff who put it through the till, they were ALL rotten, and growing mould? I had to vertically throw these items in the bin- into the compost.nnPlease see photos attached. For a self claimed “ FRESH organic wholefood store” I beg to differ… I should feel like I can trust who I’m purchasing from, and staff should be rotating the stock often? I do feel blindsided slightly and haven’t been back since to purchase these items.nnThere has been multiple occasions previously like purchasing “ Nitrate free bacon” where the tag exactly was pasted it used by date by a week. In the past I have just moved pasted it and said to myself “ must be unlucky” but this time around I think it’s abit much?
Very disappointed with the experience my wife had at Flannerys Robina. She was in the store with our two young children — our 2-year-old daughter and our baby — and was already struggling as our toddler was overtired. Instead of showing understanding or kindness, a staff member yelled at our daughter and completely embarrassed my wife in front of other customers.nThis was incredibly upsetting and uncalled for. My wife left the store in tears and our daughter was frightened. There’s simply no reason to speak to a young child or parent that way. We’ve always liked Flannerys, but after this experience, we felt completely unwelcome. Families deserve patience and respect, not humiliation.
Really disappointed by my experience here. A friend who is a Naturopath recommended I go here to get a tonic to help me with my recovery from a virus. I’ve never been to a naturopath nor have I ever had a tonic before so I headed to the naturopath counter where I expected to get proper advice.nnI was provided with a tonic and some other products and went home and started using it. After a few days I messaged my friend and asked why it tastes so much like bourbon, she informed me the herbs are soaked in ethanol to extract the benefits. I was shocked because this was not informed to me prior and as someone who is completely sober and intolerant to alcohol, I do not want it in my body. So I called up and spoke to someone and they were apologetic and said to bring it back in for a refund.nnI came in tonight and was met by Alicia, who was extremely rude. She looked at the fact that I had already consumed some and made a rude comment about that and I said I didn’t know until several days in. She said well that’s something we really should have known about before you bought it and I said no one asked me, and she goes “no you should have told us when you came here asking for it”. I don’t know anything about tonics, I’ve never had them, I told the lady it was a friend who suggested I come get one, I never had a consult. It should be the responsibility of the person selling it to let someone know that it contains alcohol, it’s negligent that I wasn’t, especially considering it tastes just like straight bourbon and would affect someone’s BAC if they consumed right before driving and needed to be .00 or severely affect an addict in recovery.nnRegardless, she kept blaming me for not being the one to mention even though I didn’t know it was something I needed to mention. I don’t know how they’re made. She was so rude. I will never shop here again. Despite the errors, the other staff members i encountered were friendly and helpful. Alicia ruined the experience and is the only reason I’m leaving a negative review.
It’s difficult to know if they have something in stock unless you ring them. Otherwise it’s a few times Joe I’ve gone there to pick up something in particular and they don’t have it. Probably why I don’t shop here that often now. Good quality products though and usually friendly
Staff not interested in what I was after, nor attending to the registers to accept money for what I did find!nChalk and Cheese with the great service at the Benowa store! Get new staff!
