One of my favourite cinemas, it's close to the food court and I often go for a wander after a film. Event has 14 cinemas at this location and but no Vmax cinema. I'm sure all cinemas are not in use so maybe they could make some modifications. Weekdays are usually quiet and the lady that works the candy bar weekdays is so helpful and friendly. They do sometimes have advance screenings of films which is better than having to trek to Event George Street cinemas.

This cinema is outdated and expensive.

It makes no sense to go here when nearby cinemas offer much better value. Event’s other cinema in Top Ryde has $10 tickets for Cinebuzz members and was more recently renovated. A little further away in Rhodes is Reading Cinemas which also has $10 tickets and much cheaper food. Macquarie Centre offers no discounts to Cinebuzz members and wants to charge $21.50 for a standard ticket in an old, smelly venue!

I highly suggest driving a few more minutes and saving yourself some money.

Amazing cinemas with over 13 screens plus gold class. Maintained so neat and we'll unlike the dirty George Street ones. Good food court is an added advantage and great selection of food before you go for the cinemas. One of the best event cinemas that I have been in Sydney

My experience, attempting to buy a third Gold Class Ticket and book for 3  last Thursday evening to see I Tonya, was abysmal! I'd emailed the day before to check if I was allowed to bring in my own food, as I have oesophagus cancer. I was told I could and was advised to book seats. I was at the cinema at 9.02 a.m. Thursday morning to buy the 3rd ticket and book. Ryan, the assistant manager arrived back at the cinema with his coffee and told me the cinema wasn't open until 9.30 a.m. I explained what I wanted to do and that I had an appointment at Carlingford. He said he would send someone out to see me. Julie came out (the person who had responded to my email-the manager) and told me again the cinema was not open. I explained what I needed to do and why at that time. She commenced to log-on and again told me the cinema wasn't open until 9.30 a.m. I told her she was repeating herself at which point she said I was screaming at her and directed me to leave, which I did. I will never go there again. I will give the tickets back to the person who gave them to me.

A good cinema to go to been to Gold class a few times, tip for gold class either order your food and drink online or get there early as the queue for the bar gets quite busy 20 minutes before your movie is about to start especially for night sessions. No Vmax at this cinema.
