I'm disabled with a visible large Assistant dog, I presented my AA ID when purchasing my ticket because the staff girl there was puzzled saying I've seen them AA in shops but not sure about the movies, I explained he's allowed in Hospital with me, until another staff member stepped in and said it was OK.nSECOND CONCERN: Had to leave the film 20 min before the film finished due to my disability, male staff guy strawberry bearded asked what disability when I asked if I could come back and finish the film another time, he said you can return today only,nI asked for the manager, and he said we are all managers!nNo responsible adults work here, the adults get paid to stand around and be rude!
Staff are so lovely and very clean and good cinema. Self serving my own popcorn and drink was a new experiencenot sure i like that but not enough to lower the 5 star lol
Events Cinema is on the top floor and can be accessed via the escalator from the food court. The restrooms and food are located at the far corner of the top floor. The theater was clean and well-maintained.
Disgusted being ripped off at this cinema. Bought a group on ticket as it is a lot cheaper and get stung for paying an extra $5 on arrival . It should matter that the film I want to watch is in Vmax.nSo what if the screen is a bit bigger and the seats are a ‘bit’ nicer . This is no way worth an extra $5.nEvent cinemas should be ashamed of themselves !nnLast time I came here the cinema was left is a disgusting mess at the back when I sat down. Poor show.
I paid full price for my cinema tickets but was forced to sit through an excessive 30 minutes of commercial ads before the movie even started. This feels like a bait-and-switch—why am I paying for a ticket if I’m just going to watch ads? If skipping ads requires paying extra, that should be clearly stated upfront. As a customer, I expect to see the movie, not a marathon of advertisements.
