Bought a $50k+ car from them which was supposed to be detailed but arrived to East Coast a month later completely filthy inside and out. First they lied about having had it detailed, but when confronted with pics of the mud, grass, Maddington sign boards, receipts etc they apologised and offered to pay for detailing. That was a month ago and they're still giving us the run around. Unacceptable to be shipping an uncleaned vehicle during Covid times, worse yet to lie and dodge the issue. Bottom line, if you want to buy from a trustworthy dealer you're looking in the wrong place. Exterior filthiness didn't show up well in pics, but it looked like it had been taken for a run in the mud.
I had issues with my indicators not flashing or blinking yet lighting up on the dash all week and had been looking and calling around trying to find what seemed to be the most obscure unobtainable part, after an anxious call to Hyundai Peter was able to identify the part I needed from my babbling explanation they were able to order the product I required at 8:45 Friday morning and I was able to get it the same day 12:30 and they were even kind enough to have someone fit it in even through they were going to their lunch break. Thanks so much I'll be glad when it's easier to access the roads that lead to the store the roadworks making it rather hard to navigate to the store isn't something that is in your control
Really friendly team that will go above and beyond to make the experience as smooth as possible. There were a few bumps in the process but they always found a way to make the process as easy for you as possible
I booked in a service and asked for two additional things. First was a broken door handle and second was the rear door getting stuck intermittently. I was asked to sign a contract at the time I left my car. I received a call back advising me to get few things fixed. I chose not to at this time. When I got back to receive the car I found that I was charged 2 lots of $160 for investigation of broken door handle and rear door issue. When I asked that what investigation was required for the broken door handle. Because I had told them earlier that the door was working fine, only door handle was broken. The lady went to see inside someone and told me that when I will come back to get my door handle fixed then they will charge me $160 less. I didn't want this and said I will pay full when I get this fixed and asked them to remove $160 from the bill. The lady told me that I will have to pay the full bill as I had signed the contract in the morning. I tried to explain my side that I signed contract for the work but no investigation was necessary or required to find out that the broken door handle need replacement. It amounts to stealing and nothing else. I had a doctor's appointment booked which would have cost me money as well If I was to cancel that on a short notice, otherwise I would have not paid that amount at all. All in all this was a very bad experience and I wish to never receive any call from this place for any of my cars.
Was an absolute pleasure dealing with Aldo. He came to my place after hours and presented me with the deal I was after. No messing around, my car was sold the same evening. Took the stress out of selling my car. Hands down the best car guy I know. Would recommend him to anyone. 10 if I could. THANKS ALDO !!!
After serving my vehicle had to go back due to ABS warning light issue as well as a air bag light know issue. I ask for my vehicle to be ready for 2pm. I arrived at 3pm as I had not been contacted to find my vehicle was not ready. I was then issued a bill for $440 which the manager the fixed to $240.and told all issues had been addressed. I then went to leave, I move my vehicle a meter and the ABS light appeared. I then reported the issue which was quickly diagnosed at a cost of $360. All ready being late I waited for the repair. After the repairs were completed a test drive occurred and I found that damage had occurred to my vehicle dented. I have now being trying to get an answer to getting my vehicle repaired. When this was a DVG dealer ship it was great, I was told it was brought and is now for sale again. I would suggest going elsewhere as per other posts this dealer ship does not operate in good faith.
Do not purchase from this dealership, in fact do not purchase a Hyundai. I purchased a new car and after a year of ownership it broke down, required 2 spark plugs to be replaced and 2 dual clutch replacements over an 18 month period. I wrote to Hyundai several times about my safety concerns and was told to keep returning this for inspection/service. After the second dual clutch replacement 9 months and 6,000kms after the first replacement I wrote to Hyundai again and was ignored. Only when I advised Hyundai I had lodged a Consumer Protection complaint was my email actioned. I had to follow the dealership up for 6 weeks for information. They did not once keep me updated on what was happening regarding a buy back. I did receive a full refund however was then given less then 2 hours notice the vehicle was being collected. The customer relations manager Michelle had the audacity to say that all I needed to do was call her for an update. Atrocious customer service. Take your business and hard earned money somewhere else.
My advice would be do not take your car in for service/repairs here. Michelle however was the only good thing about this very drawn out experience. My car is only 2 years old however it had numerous faults which were: 1. Electronic Parking Break switch failure 2. Leak which caused pools of water in the driver foot well 3. Transmission failure I apologise in advance for the lengthy details but feel it necessary. To start with I got my car back after 7 weeks. In this time I experienced a complete lack of communication, no answers, no progress and incompetence until Michelle took over. After 5 weeks I was told they had only completed diagnostics. Please correct me if I'm wrong but 5 weeks sounds like a very long time? I understand warranty was involved but even then it seems excessive and to be told nothing of the progress during that time is not acceptable. Michelle had things move along from there quite smoothly and communicated with me as it should have been done from the start. I was able to pick my car up finally, as I was told it was ready and unfortunately this was not the case, it was sitting in the yard with tape still on the windscreen and not that I was particularly fussed but it wasn't cleaned. I had taken my lunch break to pick the car up and waited until they cleaned it not very well and took the tape off so that my car was drivable. I had taken far more time off than allowed at my work and found that my car had multiple bumps, scratches, dents, chipped paint and my personal number plate was bent. I immediately reported the damage. I also asked if they had even done the service that was needed whilst there...no they hadn't. But thank you Hyundai Maddington for acknowledging the damage caused whilst under your "care" and putting the car in to repair this for another length of time. But it's not over yet! As I heard nothing back from them the second time around to see if my car had been repaired and the service completed. Yes it was ready to pick up but I was told the damage inside the windscreen which was recalibrated by none other than Hyundai Maddington "could have been done at any time". I don't know what planet these guys are living on but they seriously need to look at themselves. In summary I do not recommend, wish I'd read the Google reviews beforehand and overall I'm pretty disgusted at how my car and I were treated. Never again!
Do not recommend. Paid deposit of $1,000 on new car arriving Jan-23. I had to chase them for update only to be told I now had to wait until Apr-23. My new car wasn't even ordered!!! Still waiting on refund...
Customer service was terrible. Signed a contract for a Kona, was advised the vehicle would be here in 2 weeks. It was closer to 2 months. No one followed up with me, I had to chase up the whereabouts of the car. I then got calls about extras and finance on a car I had not test driven and the contract was based on viewing and test driving. Fast forward over 2 months, car arrives, I organise to test drive it. Turn up to the show room and they weren’t expecting me. I had a phone call from them organising the test drive. Viewed the car and then had to come back the next day to drive it. Overall not impressed with the experience
