Crystal Car Wash

Quick wash and great space but quite expensive for what you get. Need more attention to details and more care in making sure everyrhing is clean and not just focus on the speed of churning cars out

So blatantly rude and sexist. Drive in to get for a general clean and get told by the staff or will cost $120. When I said I would have the $40 wash, I was told they might not get it clean. Surprise, surprise, they didn’t get it clean. I used a bit of spit on my ginger and the marks lifted. I notice they didn’t make the same remarks to the guy after me. Taking women for a ride. Well this one won’t be back.

Considering how may car-wash places exist in the Eastern suburbs this place is very pricey. I've used their basic services and their top-tier $399 option. Definitely not worth spending more than $200 bucks here because the highest level service appears to stop at this price (anymore and you're paying for air). Overall the guys do a good job, and they don't use horrible products or leave a cheap smell in your car when they're finished. If you want a quality detail though I'd recommend using a private/mobile car detailing service instead.

I’m not normally one to waste time with reviews, but in this case I’m willing to make time. I recently took a very expensive white car through the car wash at Crystal in Randwick to find that upon collection there was a buff mark on the front right side of the car. Now I casually approached someone and asked if that would rub out and how it happened; at which point I was greeted by a little Indian fellow who felt the need to be on the defensive instead of talking to me with any level of respect. Now there is an old saying “if the shoe fits wear it”. I calmly suggested that as it is a wide car and very white and new, perhaps the machine made the mark (giving his actual workers the benefit of the doubt). Rather than speaking it out like adults, he continued to say “impossible, it was there before”. Now I am a reasonably big guy and decided to Keep my cool when many others would have lost theirs. He still showed no respect or courtesy towards how I was feeling or that I was speaking to him nicely. Please if you love your car and care about its well-being..... DO NOT TAKE IT HERE

They have the local monopoly on car washes. There's just about one in every other Sydney beach suburb. Overall they do a good job. They offer a base wash which starts at $17 and usually takes 5 minutes from drive up to out - all the way through monthly membership. Each Crystal Car Wash has a cafe where you can grab a coffee, juice or small bite to eat & the staff will do their best to upsell you in the most polite way! Rating a 3 because the length of the carwash is a bit short.
