Very happy with Consolidated’s management of my property and subsequent sale. Property managers are capable and efficient. They have a good network of affordable and prompt tradespeople. Emma also achieved a great outcome on the sale of my property. Much appreciated !
When I was a tenant with Consolidated, they sent a handyman who despite being asked and agreeing not to paint the gutters around a car, did so, got paint on the car, denied it and then became threatening towards me, including telling me he had jumped the fence when I wasn’t home and accessed the back yard. We got some money back for the cost of the car detail to remove the paint but we’re still out of pocket. The kicker was that when I was quite upset and went to the office to speak about the handyman’s conduct including him calling me late at night and jumping my fence when I wasn’t home I got told what a good handyman he is and how they have never had issues before. Thankfully shortly after this, the owners of the property changed agencies, but dealing with threats from this handyman and the total lack of care for my safety emotionally and physically made this one a very stressful and negative experience.
Actually not worth a star... Made rental application on-line 2 weeks ago without any feedback. However, the references to support the rental did receive email asking them to comment on her application. Called the agent office and got an answer saying that the application was not processed due to home open not attended. The question is how could I attend home open without being informed the date and time? I've registered to have home inspection, again through on-line form, and was not informed to have any home inspection. Anything done on-line with this agent is waste of time.

If you ever see a term in your lease that reads something along the lines of, 'clean everything in and out' 'carpets, blinds AND tiles' please don't agree to it. Its uncommon and we didn't find out professional tile cleaning can cost almost as much as the bond or moreour bond was 1280. We came in to the house with broken sprinkler systems too and may have tried to move the liability to us. Overall at the start they leave you alone however later on they appear to be aggressive and emotional. In my view, I find their behaviour to be quite bizarre. Disclaimer: everything in this review is a product of my own perception. Besides the sneaky term there are worse out there its a shame they appear to be so petty.
DO NOT USE CONSOLIDATED PROPERTY to manage your property. They were terrible for us as well as our tenant. They don’t inspect properly and don’t report things that need repair. They don’t follow instructions and deny receiving email or phone correspondence. Our rental was returned to us with a lot of damage that they dismissed until we fought hard. They simply don’t do their job but collect extraordinary high fees. I have absolutely nothing good to say about them.
Worst property managers. Terrible to deal with, don’t inspect properties properly. Our rental was returned to us trashed, holes in the wall, burns in the carpet, gardens and retic destroyed and they gave the bond back to the last tenants!!!! DO NOT USE CONSOLIDATED THEY ARE RUBBISH!!!
Best real estate company that I've dealt with for the last 15years in Perth. Excellent staff and service.
