No communication skills, very rude treatment of residents and all around unprofessional. Platinum was informed of necessary repairs two years before the issue was eventually addressed. I don't recommend them at all.

Communication all round from Platinum Strata was slow, ill-informed, and showed no regard for customer service. The fact that Platinum did not take the initiative to inform the COO of what is required to actually carry out a by-law is ridiculous. Platinum are engaged by owners to be a source of knowledge to assist owners in making informed decisions, yet when they witnessed a by-law being written and then not actioned they failed to take any steps to inform the COO on how to carry this out. This is negligant and irresponsible, and not what we pay them for. The consistent lack of leadership and initiative when commencing, monitoring and tracking work orders severely showed no regard for quality customer service. When I tell my Strata Manager I have a leak in my bathroom ceiling that is causing the ceiling to collapse, I do not expect to have to follow up with them after THREE business days to see if they have even seen my email, much less taken any action. My home security was drastically compromised by the actions our strata manager, when she wrote to all tenants, owners, and agents and informed them of the dates my apartment would be vacant due to holidays, thus leaving it a prime target for break-ins. I was given two days to take advantage of Platinum's offer to try and rectify the situation and placate me. Two days to seek quotes and have work completed by trades people to increase my home security. Platinum made this offer knowing full well I would not be able to take advantage of it. Further, the complete lack of acknowledgement of this significant complaint by manager Gordon Barclay is bewildering and entirely disrespectful. When sending this feedback to Platinum, I cc'd the manager or Platinum, Gordon Barclay, as one would assume that he would like to be made aware of this feedback to ensure the ongoing continued improvement of Platinum's service. As predicted, I received no response.
