Worst relocation company ever. It took 3 month and 7 days for our shipments to arrive from Bangkok to Sydney. No response ever regardless if we call them, leave a message, or send them an email. Guitar damaged while inside the case (guitar case however was not damaged). Watches with its band cleanly cut off. Toy B.B. gun was opened and then loaded with a packet of B.B. bullets in it and obviously played with (I was not happy when my toddler touched the new toy gun and B.B. bullets came shooting out of it!)...

I can just imagine the staff sitting in the warehouse opening, playing, and damaging my stuff having a laugh while I’m desperately trying to contact them to get my household items and baby clothes to me ASAP. Thank to them my baby has grown out of half of the shipments moved over when they finally arrived. 

And they are not cheap!

I used Conroy Removals Auckland and found the experience acceptable and so I thought I'd contact the Sydney when I need some items relocated. But no response whatsoever. Poor service standards.

Recently moved household goods (2 bedroom apartment) from SYD to AKL. Sales process was quick and easy and they consistently followed up to win the business. Their pricing was not cheapest (out of 10 quotes it was 4th cheapest), but the value of door to door service combined with their thorough and transparent customer service (pre and post sale) was what won me over. The best part about the service were the two guys who packed everything up and took it away, and the two guys who dropped everything off in AKL - friendly, no fuss guys really went above and beyond. 

I took a gamble and didn’t opt for insurance, and I was lucky that everything arrived undamaged in one piece - even my 65inch smart tv which arrived in the box upside down turned out to be fine. Although the insurance wasn’t much additional IMO, I took into account the value of my goods, cost to replace, and the weather - cargo damage sometimes comes down to weather at sea/vessel movement, regardless of how well goods are packed and lashed inside a container (I work in shipping).

If you’re moving something valuable/sentimental and/or your goods are travelling a long distance - get the insurance and read the fine print because cargo damage claims are a lengthy process, standard across the industry. 

Conroy Removals were excellent from end to end and I highly recommend their service. Thanks guys!

One word : SENSATIONAL. Not only did Conroy deliver our goods sent from Singapore on time and like true professionals, they also helped us with another rogue removals company in Sydney that refused to deliver our European goods for no reason!! How many companies do that??!!! Unbelievable. Awesome company. Awesome people. Awesome service.

I'm disappointed to say is was the worst moving experience! What started out as a professional service quickly disintegrated into unprofessional 'she said, he said' between us and the moving team especially when they weren't given vital communication by the office staff. To make things worse when we finally got our stuff, we ended up with over $5000 worth of damage and box of computer equipment that somehow disappeared even before the container got onto the ship! To make matters worse they tried to blame their agents in the destination country! It took 4 months to get our insurance settlement with a lot of effort on our part. Steer clear and avoid problems in the long run.
