We recently moved to Los Angeles from Sydney and arranged to have OSS ship some personal and household effects. 

Our goods we collected and packed efficiently by a very professional team but unfortunately this is where the happy story ends. 

Almost 3 (yes three!) months later our shipment is yet to leave Sydney. I was told at the time of booking that it generally takes 1-4 weeks for the shared container to fill up before shipment but honestly, 11 weeks is ridiculous. 

After multiple ignored emails and phone calls I finally received a belated response today that our shipment is still on hold and won't be going anywhere until at least the middle of September. 14-15 weeks after being collected from our home. 

Buyer beware. If you are hoping to have your goods shipping in any kind of reliable time frame look elsewhere.

OSS organized the receiving end of our intercontinental move from Switzerland to Sydney/Australia. Good and friendly communication throughout, very accurate time estimates, delivery on time with a very efficient duo of guys who unloaded and unpacked at a speed never seen before (at 35 degrees heat!). OSS is the partner of our overseas moving company, (i.e. we didn't choose them ourselves), therefore we cannot comment on how they would perform with organization/quote/packing/pricing etc at the starting point of a move, but we certainly had a very good impression of OSS and would recommend (and we have moved plenty of times before to be able to judge the services).

Damaged goods, poor transportation of goods. Not recommended. Not really helpful and condescending when tried to correspond.

I recently recommended some friends use OSS World Wide Movers for their move from Sydney to Berlin in Germany. My friendship with them remains intact so clearly everything worked out ;)
