What a great place to stay!n24 hr reception so arriving after 10pm tired we didn't have to figure out a rubix puzzle to get the key for our room.nThe room was clean and had everything we needed. Beds comfy and it was quiet!!nParking was easy to get too and was free, and the cafe on site gave us one of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time. Cost was excellent and considering the amenities! The staff were polite and helpful. There were clean and tidy courtyard spots to sit outside in the warmer months..nGreat place to stay and we will definitely be back..!!!nThank you so much..!!
The first room upon checking in smelt like a mixture of bleach and human excrament.nnA nice staff member swapped me to an identical room without the stench. Much better.nnEverywhere has been tiled throughout. Therefore, the Middle Eastern gentlemen talking for hours on their phones outside your door kind of echoes and is louder than the Hume highway during peak hour.nnWhile the bathroom is nearly bigger than the bedroom, it really has the unfinished or rushed feel to it.nnThe lack of windows provides a claustrophobic sensation similar to an ibis hotel room with a window.nnBathroom light fitting missing with exposed wiring, some seriously questionable trades have done a number on this one.nnLuckily, it's only a 4 night stay for work, and sleep isn't important at allnnThe second night was eventful with what seemed to be paper thin walls and floors. You could hear a passionate couple making all sorts of noises, uncertain if it was pleasure or pain, but it was as if they were in the same room and went for hours.nnThe breakfast in the attached cafe was great value for money each morning, and the cook was so efficient and friendly. Nothing was an issue.nNice and basic food done well.nnI'd come back for breakfast, but that's about all.nnFor approx $140 a night, you're better off spending an extra 20 and finding somewhere a bit better.
We've stayed at the Comfort Inn several times when we've been in Sydney for the theatre. The staff are welcoming, rooms are clean and comfortable and bathrooms are a good size. Parking is free - a plus in Sydney. The location is good for our purposes.
Front desk and phone booking the best part of the experience. Easy, accommodatingpardon the pun and quick. Noise echoes from surrounding streets,pubs,traffichuman and vehicle and the building architecture does not help. The star context is based on a motel at $ 200 per night
The property was super noisy. There was a 2 inch gap between the entry door and the floor of the room. Constantly woken up by people walking in the hall or cars driving on the street. The bathroom flooded due to the drain for the shower being 5 feet away from the shower. No bathtub, just tile floor. Extremely dangerous when wet! When we mentioned the issue to the front desk, they refused to do anything about it. We even asked for extra towels to clean it ourself and were denied. Couldn’t even get hot water for more than 5 minutes! Way too expensive for what it is!! I will never stay here again. I’ve stayed in motels and bed a breakfasts better than this!!
