Completely remodeled rooms with charging ports near bed stand. Large comfortable bed. You have to check in at bar and if you need rooms cleaned you need to go back to the bar and speak to the Thai ladies who do not fully comprehend English.
The attitude from the new manager/owner and the security at this place is atrocious. Every time I visit they’re incredibly hostile towards those in the gaming room and I’ve personally witnessed the manager yell at patrons because he didn’t like their look.nnThe previous owners / staff were incredible and the atmosphere was calm.
The food was great and the prices were okay but the staff that work behind the bar are extremely rude and aggressive, especially the girl by the cash register, I would love to come back to this place but I just can’t get behind the hostile staff.nStay away from this pub if you don’t want to deal with unfriendly staff!
Great location. Looks recently refurbished. Fresh & clean rooms. Train station across the road. On-street parking Observe restrictions.nMany shops in the area if you wish to explore the surroundings.nBasically fully automated online bookings. Pin and access codes sent back to you. Very easy to navigate. Pub downstairs doubles as a 'reception'.nPub has daily 'meal' deals!
While at the pub, we were not informed by the security team that it was time to leave. Had we been given proper notice, we would have complied immediately and respectfully, as we understand and appreciate the importance of staff doing their job.nnInstead, after stepping out of the washroom, the security guard took a photo of us without our consent and without providing any prior warning or instruction to vacate the premises. This action felt completely inappropriate and racially motivated, as it seemed we were treated differently from others.nnWe left peacefully once we realized what was happening, but the experience was deeply upsetting and felt discriminatory. We hope this incident will be looked into seriously, and that your team will be reminded of the importance of clear communication and respectful treatment of all patrons, regardless of background.
