Went to the French film Festival. It was a very busy session. I ended up in a ridiculously located seat: front row (3 meters of the screen!!!) and completely on the side. I was basically facing the curtain of the screen. I have spent all the time trying to find a comfortable position to watch the film but nothing I could do to avoid to twist my full body and get a sore neck (literally!). On top of that, the angle of view was so extreme that the image of the film was distorted Overall poor experience for what should have been a lovely afternoon in an attractive venue. I have got the feeling I have wasted my time and money. THIS CINEMA IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR BUSY FILM FESTIVALS. I WILL AVOID THE REST OF THE FESTIVAL.

The movie I wanted to see sold out as I approached the cashier so I was not very happy. An alternative movie Id never heard of was suggested. The genre not really my thing, but....I Loved it! A Fantastic Woman was a fantastic movie.

I love opportunity to see Independent cinema. Nice staff. Discounts on Tuesday. Snacks however on the expensive side... but that's standard in Perth cinemas unfortunately. There are a couple of very small screens here so if you like the big screen, it's smart to call and ask. I've been going here forever. You can grab a wine if you fancy one. Nice spot for a movie after work. Plenty of restaurants nearby as its in Northbridge. Free parking in nearby streets from 6pm.

My very fav cinema on Earth, and I've been all over the world. I'll tell you why: First off I have a Luna Privilege Card so it's way cheaper to buy tickets. And then there is the adorable depths to the mystic cinema itself. And then we will talk about the extremely quirky humans that work there. They are all truly fanatic, and remind me of people who would be in a movie about people who work at a cinema. I enjoy every single trip here, even sometimes when my film of choice wasn't great. They have wonderful film festivals and the special events to go with them are gems. The ultimate date location. The only downside is some of the cinemas have older sometimes wobbly or partly broken chairs. But as films are not full very often you can just change seats.

The best art house cinema I've ever been to. Nostalgic. Friendly staff. Good seating plan and screens.
