This review is on my experience today and whilst past experiences may have been better or worse this is truly reflective of going to the cinema today.nnI saw two movies today alien Romulus and also beetle juice.nnGood-Free birthday popcorn, clean cinemas both viewings and Friendly staff.nnBad-Male toilet appeared not to be cleaned all day as there was a huge leak from the urinal and it stunk and our viewing of alien Romulus was ruined by gate crashes who didn’t pay for a ticket.nnNow assuming the staff were scared to stop them coming in calling centre management security would’ve at least got them out.nnYou really should just let the movies be free if you pick and choose who pays.
I recently attended a movie at this cinema, and it was a disappointing experience. Throughout the film, the lights remained on, which completely ruined the atmosphere. It was distracting, and it took away from the immersive experience you're supposed to have while watching a movie. I approached the staff about it, but nothing was done. For the price of tickets these days, I expect better. I won’t be coming back unless they improve on basic things like ensuring a proper movie-watching environment.
I paid full price in a Tuesday after speaking with 3 people that couldnt book my discount, taking a 2, 3 and 4 yr old to see Garfield which I wasn't informed that it was in 3D then got popcorn and drinks 3 regular n 1 large plus 2 popcorn and cost like $60! So what I thought would be a cheap Tuesday turned in to almost $150!
The cleanliness of the facilities needs improvement. The toilets are in poor condition—dirty, with an unpleasant odour—and would benefit from more frequent and thorough cleaning. Additionally, it would be helpful to have better cleaning practices in place after each movie screening. I found rubbish and drink stains on the seats, during my last visit.
We accidentally booked the tickets for Thursday and I actually wanted to go on Friday night but the staff has allocated the seats for me on Friday and she was so helpful I don’t know the name of the staff but she deserve a raise and saved my weekend to get spoiled…much much appreciated!!! # superwomen #superstarstaff
