Hoyts Lux cinema treatment is gold class standard. Been there for Avengers Endgame and Shang-chi and the legend of the Ten Rings. It was amazing! The service was outstanding, the service staff were friendly and seats were comfortable. The price of the items were not cheap but they were worth every penny. The normal large popcorn was around $11 and the large soft drink was around $9. So you could imagine how much the Lux cinema food would cost. Lol… there was a nice lounge seating to wait for the movie to start, the counter and bar service was very good. You can order food upon arrival and the food is served to you during the movie at well spread out timing for appetizer, main and dessert. The experience was really good. I am going back there for the third time when Eternals is out : keep up the excellent standards.
Excellent ambience, mind blowing sound system and good screen size. Only issue is, lights on the steps inside the cinema won't go off or dim even while movie is ON. they reflect staight into th eyes of audiences sitting next to the aisle. Pls take them off or make them not visible from audience seats.
Should not come to this place its dirty every where, do not clean the cinema before and after session, the seat i got was really dirty, fingerprint everywhere, food grease, popcorn all over the place. Asked the staff to clean that seat, used a really dirty rag which was blue in colour but obviously changed to brown
Went and saw Avatar in 3D and extreme screen , Just AMAZING ! Recliner chairs comfy as , movie was 3hrs i could have stayed another 2hrs. Candy shop has everything sweet, yummy and refreshing. Pop corn was spot on. New to Perth and DEFINATELY coming back to Hoyts Carousel,staff super helpful and friendly too. Toilets very clean and stocked. Fantastic experience, highly recommended.
Was a great experience with the lux cinema, they could do with a better system for seating arrangements regarding food delivery options. i.e. Have guests complete a form prior to arrival regarding when food and drinks are to be delivered to their seats throughout the movie, would help the staff have an easier time entering in who gets what and when into the system and prevent disgruntled customers when they get issues with their orders especially when there is distractions during the movie ect. Other than that i would recommend taking the family for the experience.
The best experience ever ...so far the best theatre I been too the seats are super comfy and got lots of leg room as well ..so would definitely recommend a person who wants to enjoy a movie on weekends with their friends and family!
They don't even answer the phone. Tried for hours to ask about using vouchers and the answering machine has only 1 option, to press zero. Which takes you to a voicemail that is full. How does anyone ever call this place?
No where else let's you relax..feet up!! Back of the seat rolls back, as far as you like. Considering we were right up the front Avatar 2 I had my ginger beer they the kids 30's + had their popcorn & things & together we had our Movie - Christmas night at the movies 2022 Good crowd in attendance actually. Just chilling. Bring a blankie stay warm "Another ginger beer at half-time" Just call it Brilliant experience exactly, chilled xx
Have been to HOYTS Carousel a few years ago and was always in the mind-set that the mid and back rows were the best. They still are, however I was surprised to find out that the front rows are now comfortable enough for viewing the screen with electric recliner armchairs. Extra happy with the staff who allowed me to store my motorcycle gear behind the counter.
Utterly disgusted. Ordered a medium popcorn, there was mould and the popcorn was burnt ALL at the bottom of the box. The seating was comfortable but it was messy. Had a bunch of annoying rats throwing brown stuff at me and my friend, it covered our shoes. Hope you're having a good day watch out for some ratty teenagers that sit at the top of the cinema. VERY unpleasant. ‍
