Visited Hoyts Southlands on Tuesday. On arrival I realised I had booked garden city instead of southlands. The staff were so kind to me and extremely helpful to sort out MY error. Very grateful our day wasn’t ruined because of my mistake
I went to watch Wicked with family. I LOVED the recliner chairs, so comfy! The staff were helpful and polite. Thank you for a wonderful time.
Been a while since I've come here to watch a movie so it was a pleasant surprise to see they seem to have upgraded the seating so you're spaced further apart from people in front and behind you with a partition in between, and now there's recliners.nn-1 star for the audio cutting out multiple times and also some rowdy patrons who wouldn't shut up
We entered the cinema 10 minutes before the start time. It was an absolute mess, rubbish over flowing from the bin at the entrance as well as rubbish all over the seats. Another patron requested cleaning and one poor young kid came in alone trying to pick up the rubbish while people were filling the seats. There was no time for him to wipe anything down. When customers are paying over $20 for a seat you don’t expect to have to clean the previous customer’s rubbish off to be able to sit down.nOn the positive side, the recliners are comfortable and parking is easy.
