My friend and I sat in LUX. Great service and experience, love the grand feeling of reading compared to hoyts. But a Renovation is defiantly needed! Seats are abit torn up and the foyer space is abit outdated
Great location. Good sound. Good customer service but look at these seats. Disgusting. In the premium section just as bad. Nobody cleans cup holders. Seats full of popcorn. Come on Reading Belmont. Clean ya cinema and replace ripped seats
I would like to acknowledge the outstanding customer service I recently received from Matthew at Reading Cinemas Belmont Gold Lounge.nnThe afternoon before my scheduled Gold Lounge session, I used the Reading Cinemas app to purchase food for the screening. Unfortunately, although my bank account was charged for the order, there was no record of the purchase anywhere within the app. As you can imagine, this was frustrating and disappointing, particularly as I had paid for the food and had no confirmation that the order even existed.nnWhen I arrived at the Gold Lounge that evening, I explained the situation to the young staff member at the counter, who then referred me to the duty manager, Matthew.nnFrom the moment he became involved, Matthew was professional, courteous, understanding and genuinely focused on resolving the issue. Despite the fact that I could provide no proof other than the charge appearing on my bank account, he trusted my explanation and immediately offered to provide the food I had originally ordered without hesitation.nnWhat impressed me most was not just that the issue was resolved, but the way Matthew handled it. He treated me with respect, listened carefully, remained calm and professional throughout, and made what could have been a very frustrating customer experience completely stress-free. His willingness to take ownership of the situation and find a practical solution exceeded my expectations.nnIn an era where exceptional customer service can sometimes be hard to find, Matthew is a fantastic representative of Reading Cinemas. He is a credit to your organisation and reflects the kind of customer focused attitude that keeps people coming back.nnPlease pass on my sincere thanks to Matthew and ensure his efforts are recognised. Employees who demonstrate this level of professionalism, trust, initiative and care deserve to be commended. Because of his actions, what started as a negative experience ended as a very positive one.nnThank you, Matthew, for your outstanding service.
I've been coming to this cinema for more than 20 years and it is by far my favourite.nI'm writing a review now because of the lovely staff on my recent visits who have been so helpful and friendly.nThere are many great food options here, for before or after movie meals.nThe prices are also very good compared to other cinemas, so I'm able see more movies without breaking the bank.nThank you to all the staff at Belmont Reading Cinema!
Staff always have been friendly, efficient and helpful. Comfortable reclining chairs in premium cinemas. Plenty of toilets and access to a small number of restaurants from within the foyer. We find it a quieter venue than Hoyts Carousel and easy to find parking. Overall needs a refresh, chairs are worn in places and facilities a little tired.
