This resturant is worth four stars easily. I stayed at a local hotel that did not have room service and headed out for dinner. I didn't have a booking but they were more than happy to accommodate me. The decor is intimate with low lighting that instantly relaxes you, and although it was busy, it is not overly loud due to the table set up. I was a little cold at my table and I requested to be moved. Again they were more than happy to accommodate me. I ordered the duck and mushroom pancakes that were lovley. My waiter was outstanding and recommended wine and described the main dish that I ordered. The main was a beef and scallop hotpot. While the beef was perfectly cooked and the scallops were very nice it was the mushrooms that were outstanding in this dish. The dish comes with rice but not a over the top amount that other resturants seem to do. My waiter was one of the best I've had and was not only knowledgeable but also not overly attentaive. He recommeded a wine for each dish and one glass was even complimentary. A nice touch is that there are books that can be read at the tables. Bravo chairman and yip. Bravo.

Incredible atmosphere, even better food. In my humble opinion this is the best restaurant Canberra.

Great food. Superb wine collection and amazing staff. They know their food very well and the kitchen is VERY accommodating of dietary requirements. My favorite restaurant in Canberra.
