Story

We're open for dinner from Monday - Saturday. If you have a group of 15 people or more we will happily open the restaurant at lunch time and give you exclusive access to the dining room.

Fantastic food and amazing service. Went to Aubergine for a family dinner and was greeted by pleasant and delightfully helpful staff. Across our table we ordered a variety of options from the menu and every option we received was both beautiful to look at and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was nice and it got a little loud as the evening progressed but never out of hand.

Food was amazing. Price was expected. Wine was to spot on with the food. I recommend getting the wine assortment to suite food. Spot on. Only criticism is it was to bright in the restaurant. Need to dim the lights a fraction to get the right mood.

The best restaurant in Canberra. The food was amazing, service was brilliant and the wine (and sommeliers wine knowledge) was like nothing else I have experienced in Canberra. We haven't had the chance to go out much lately due to a new addition to the family, and we are so glad we went to Aubergine with the first opportunity we had to go out in months.

Outstanding Experience. We visited for a date night on a trip to Canberra just before Christmas. Everything from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was outstanding. The staff are friendly and attentive without being annoying and the food is fresh, absolutely delicious and a work of art to look at. We didn't drink alcohol on this occasion however the bubbly sommelier seemed to keep big smiles of faces around the restaurant! For $95 a head this restaurant is great value for those who enjoy the finer things in life. Restaurants like this in other capital cities would charge almost double that for the same experience. Well done Aubergine. We will be back!

Aubergine is certainly not a cheap it, but it is well worth the price. Every meal is an absolute masterpiece, and even the weakest dishes are miles ahead of anything else. Friendly staff and smooth ambience are also part of the package. Treat yourself, and maybe a partner with you.
