Is it only has anyone else experienced it I mean that guy Name KHAN is absolutely not the right person to be working in Centrelink Because you go there to ask for help not for a attitude you would think are you here for Centrelink help you here asking some sort of modern day He needs to change his attitude When I go I should not expect or feel like I am begging from someone It should more like helping centre.. so racist Islam...Im a single mom went there with my 2children one of my children are special needs son.. my English is not good Im asking for interpreter. He called interpreter 5times the line cut then I ask him talk with my elder daughter English campaign Principal he hang out the calls said why I need to talk with outsider..I tell him your interpreter line are cut why not you talk with principal.. he talk rude and even not bother me.. I was frustrated..my son is autistic and recently he had seizures.. I bring him there..I'm not begging KHAN RACIST MONEY..
I visited Centrelink today around 10am to get my name corrected on the medicare system as only an initial appear for my first name. The lady was very rude and asked me to change my name saying it is too long. She said “You are in Australia now. You should fit in”!!! She also said “Our system has been there since day one” and since I am the new one, I should change accordingly. That was very rude and unacceptable. She need not have said such things as my request was based on my legal right to have my name correctly stated. In my opinion people with such rude and racist attitudes should not be at Centerlink whose purpose is to serve the public no matter what racial background you are from.
you need to change your calling system, I’m sick of speaking through robots for them to just hang up on me when I am in need of an actual customer service member. Makes things so difficult for no reason
I visited today to get a CRN. The person at the counter refused to serve me asking to call the customer service. I had all the identification paperwork. Stood on hold for almost an hr to call Customer Service just to be told i should have been served by the agent at the counter. Made a complaint to the T/L at the store and she did not accept that what happened was wrong. Her excuse was they are promoting digital services. You lot are a joke

Over a week ago. Me and wifey went there to get more information on our newborn claims, paid parental leave and also new start. Though we had read info via website, we still not very sure, clear on procedures and we have few question. So we went to this branch, register and after waited for over an hour ,the lady officer attending to us directed us to make a claim using the computer instead. Seriously, Even after Waiting to see her over an hour. We ask her couple of questions and advice but she told us to call the related department. She said "i do not have all the information". It seems that she is trying to clear the line as soon as possible. Reluctantly we followed to the computer terminal. At the terminal desk, there is an officer so occupied with people asking question. Those People are like us who needs more information. So we did fill up the online claims, today i got a notification from centerlink that next forthnight we will not receive any family assistancetax benefit for our children. Now,i got to redo the whole process all over again. Yes, Customer service is very friendly at the front counter. But our whole trip down there to get information and assistance is not a good experience.
If people can solve them problems they won't come to this.... place I have one day spind here to revenue my Medicare they didn't help me out go do this do this if could I don't come here it's really really not helpful this place .
Good lord, where do I begin? Look, I get it. I don’t mind the wait or the lines but; must front staff be so judgemental? I happen to be going through a rough time and as humiliating as dole money is for me, at least have some compassion, courtesy and respect. What’s the point of having Centrelink branches if they’re just going to send you away every time? I couldn’t update my student information online since I had withdrawn; the lines were so busy the phone wouldn’t even connect to the bloody call centre, and when you tell them that in person they say “well you gotta keep trying” because there’s a “1.5 hour waiting times” and “we close at 16:30” after she questioned my existing claim and gave me a phone number I already had. It’s never a good time for them. I’ll pay every cent of it back if it means never dealing with you again for the rest of my life.
Yesterday, me and my husband visited first time Dandenong, Centre link because we have moved from Perth to Melbourne and Kim who was the kind lady from centre link, provided us very good services. Her behaviour was so nice and we really inspired. More appropriate Kim and Dandenong centre link for best services.
Have been to Springvale office first for my mother's income statement. Staff at the door not helpful and the one at the encounter was very rude as if I was to about to rob a bank. It was completely at Dandenong office. Not only help out the statement that I need but also set up the on-line account so that Mom doesn't come the centre so often. Thank you all the staff at Dandenong!
