after waiting 20 minutes on hold, I was redirected to a staff member who was very rude and didn't even try to help me
I have been there to apply for Medicare and they took all my documentat and told it's done. I have been waiting for one month didn't receive my Medicare card and then call the 132011 spoke with the lady she told me all the documents the have emailed we are not able to red it it's just black
After waiting for one hour I finally got called up only to find the attendee at the check-in counter had assigned me to Centrelink instead of Medicare after asking to renew my Medicare card and even showing my expired card Incompetent. Re-directed to wait another hour for the correct useless civil servant to waste my tax payers funds on red tape snipping and KPI box ticking. Privatise this rubbish and see efficiency rise and employment drop. Go figure. What a useless organisation.
Excellent service, this service gives you basically free health care as long as you are a permanent resident or citizen. Dont bother getting private health insurance ever in this country because its basically no different to a scam. If you do you will pay thousands 10's of thousands even in premiums and gap fees when you visit specialist or need surgery. But if you have medicare all this stuff is absolutely free, yes free if you go through an emergency department when you get sick. Private health insurance, dont do it!
My mum gets sent there by her teacher because she hadn't gone to language school the day before because of a headache. but the doctor refuses to give my mum a slip. saying that immigrants always do this. very disgusting and unprofessional behaviour
Some of the staff were rude with attitude. Not so gud experience, they won't answer ur ques n ask you to check/search evrything online. Some of them don't evn hv any knowledge, they keep on asking other good staff members those who roam around
One of the worst services out there. Incompetent staff and very slow.
Belinda is really a saint, first person to talk me OUT of being stressed rather than sending me away
Some of the staff members are so impatient and rude.
Very inaccessible to people that work full time with it's short opening hours mid week and being closed on the weekend. Please open late night/Saturday's and move with the times!
