Centenary Power Tools was established in 1978 with an emphisis on quality tool repairs and electric armature and stator rewinds. As the years have gone by our business has gone from strength to strength, developing into a business that stocks all the major brands of power tools - Milwaukee, Makita, Hitachi, Bosch, Fein, Metabo. We are also warranty agencies for these brands.

Now with the power of CSS we will be able to provide a greater service in the construction and fastening industries, not only selling leading power tool brands, but also hand tools, fasteners, machinery, safety products and anything else required for these markets.

We were steered in CP tools direction by someone at Finnlayson‘s only to realise they were closed on a Saturday for trade, but were present on site and helped us figure out how to change the blade in a really old jigsaw on the spot. Very courteous and helpful team, family owned, the place to go to get your power tools sorted out!

Professional & prompt service /repair of my Ryobi electric lawnmower.
The service is always friendly. The size of this place is much bigger than expected. It seems tiny because of the small front opening but they have loads of gear inside.
Purchased from interstate, they packaged and sent the product to me in Melbourne. Postage was cheap and well packaged. Price was excellent. There was a small non critical issue with the item and they resolved it beyond my expectations, extremely fast and extremely fairly. Great service and great company A1

I have been using CPT for years to check, machine & fit new bearing on electric golf cart motors. But they also do the warranty work for most power tools. They have a large supply in store for new top brand power tools & supplies.
Brand new Paslode Brad Gun. Bending Nails from the start every second fire. Centenary looked at it “working fine can’t get it to miss fire”. Back to same job. Secret nailing Spotted Gum flooring. Dozen bent nails from 20 fires. Packed it away and hand nailed 75Lm URRRRR, Very annoyed. Took it Back to Centenary. They bagged out Paslode, Bagged out the Product, Bagged out the Paslode staff they did have good things to say about a ex Paslode staff member that returned I think to the US. Also said its not designed to fire into hardwood lol. I wrote to Paslode explaining the lemon I had, did not mention Centenary's bagging out. Quick response in writing followed up by a call from Paslode manager. Instructed to take gun to Thomo’s nail gun repairs. WOW he fixed gun while we talked 10 to the dozen. Gun had from new an out of alignment barrel the removable piece he diagnosed issue within 3-4mins. Replaced this part, also gave gun a full once over and oiled. Fired a bucket ton of brads and sent me on my way. Last week did stage two of “hardwood” floor with this gun. 255lm’s TWO BENT BRADS out of 2000plus and both my fault trying to fire on very difficult angle. So Yes, ONE star for not fixing the gun the first time it was returned ONE for not fixing second time ONE for bagging out a world wide 5star product ONE for the grief of hand nailing 75Lm ONE for bagging out Paslode management
I would not recommend this company at all. Sent my Bosch line-trimmer in for a warranty repair back in November 2018, they threw out my battery and sent back the linetrimmer. Then when I complained they sent me somebody else's battery. I then complained again and they said they will order one from Bosch. As at 24th February 2019 I still have no replacement battery until March because it is now on "backorder". I now have to pay someone to do my edges and my line trimmer is out of warranty. No happy at all!
Fantastic service, friendly staff with excellent advice will b back soon
