I have a beautiful clock which was purchased many years ago and looked like new. In fact when I took it in to the Collin Street store (just before ir closed permanently) the girl who registered it to install a new battery, remarked on how new it looked for its age. That was the last time it looked new. When I went back to collect the clock, not only was it still not working, as no work had been done on it, but the alarm button on the back was missing. I explained both issues to the person serving and they said they would look to see if they could find the part....Please note, it was not noted as missing when the regular check for marks and problems etc was done on the day it was originally left in the store. A day or so later I was told that the button had not been found and that it must have been missing when I bought it in for the battery. If that were the case I would have asked for a battery and a new button.....extremely rude and unprofessional on their part. I was then told to go to another repairer because they were closing and didn’t know when or if they’d open again in the future. Sadly, I find the staff are very polite when they try to sell a product, but slow to satisfy and are rude when any follow up is required....shame Cartier shame!

Walked into the store and was welcomed by Andy who was very helpful and professional so we were very happy to buy the rings without any hesitation

Being a "higher end / classy" jeweller there are no surprises as to why a store or it's staff would mistreat people or disacknowledge them. It's a little sad but true, in today's society everything and everyone is judged based on their physical looks/attire, this form of judgemental preconceptions of a person/product isn't always accurate but it happens across all industries. There are other leading factors which could result in the misunderstanding of being disknowledged... it all depends on the time and place.. I've given a 5 star rating because of the following: we came in wearing the most shabby clothes (0 class what so ever lol I wore shorts and a plain T with flip flops) I had my little nephew and niece whom are about 7 years old and 3 years old.. my sister and my mother. We were greeted by the beautiful staff member whom not only treated us with respect / patience and care she also made a sale from us. We knew exactly what we wanted prior entering the store so it didn't take us long to decide on which product was best suited for the purpose of our purchase. Best part of this story, ... the store closes at 5pm, we rocked up like a hilly hilly family around 4pm and even though we did not look the part we definitely spent the dough! There was a caucasian couple whom starred us down and were probably thinking "ppfft these guys aren't serious lol" Moral of the story for both parties, staff and potential clients alike.. remember, life isn't about riches & expensive things it is the essence and beauty of your love and personal being. Nobody deserves to be judged. We were born naked, we'll one day past on naked. Have a lovely day :)

The rating for Cartier should be negative. The staff was unprofessional and unfriendly at all. She could not answer my simple questions and just kept saying what classic ring styles they have in store.( I knew all these from your website already. ) I basically just wanted to know four things: clarity, cut, carat and price. (because your website does not mention these clearly). The staff replied me with "our product is the best, is excellent, we are top 5...blah, blah, blah. " She never gave me a chance to say a single word. What a rush (i thought she had a full bladder.). And then just gave me a catalogue and said " come back when you have more idea about what you need". And then, she rushed to the next customer who wore luxurious clothes. (Obviously, we wore different glasses. ) The quality of the customer service depends on whether you look "high class", I looked LIKE " middle class" or even lower at that time, so i don't deserve to get a single product from there (excuse me, i did not beg for it). They all wear colour glasses. What a shame!!!!! LAST ADVICE: Do not spend a penny at Cartier

terrible service when i went to fit my idea wedding ring. one of the saleslady was very rude and ask me do not fit 2 rings in one finger in the very rude way
