We really love this restaurant The 8 of us entered this place and it has no place to sit. We quickly put a few tables together outside for ourselves and the place was busy. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly.nnThe highlight, of course, was the food. The Sichuan Flavours were reflected in every dish we ordered. Each dish was a perfect blend of flavors, cooked to perfection. The Fish Fillet Sichuan style, Steamed Pork Dumplings and Ma Pa Tofu was especially delicious.nnThe portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best Chinese cuisine.
I had a strong craving for spicy Chinese food and decided to try this restaurant. The portions of the dishes were impressively large and incredibly filling. The rice servings were particularly abundant, reminding me of homemade meals from Asia. The authenticity of the flavours was evident, transporting me back home.nnWhat truly enhanced the experience was the friendly and attentive service from the waitstaff. They were genuinely kind and accommodating, even helping us pack up the leftover rice when we couldn't finish it all. Their warmth and willingness to assist made our dining experience even more enjoyable.nnOverall, it was a delightful meal that not only satisfied my craving for spicy Chinese food but also left me impressed with both the quality of the dishes and the service provided that we went back the next day for dinner after a challenging hike.
If you miss or crave Chinese food while in Wanaka, this Gusto restaurant serves up good tasty fares - ordered the fried Mixed Meat and Seafood rice noodles and it was delicious with fresh big prawns, ample chicken & beef. Not oily which is great. Service is friendly & fast.
My favourite Chinese food in whole of Queenstown and Wanaka area!! Always pop by for their roasted duck and roasted pork belly. Brought several different friends and they always enjoy it. Super yummy! Highly recommend. I’d always have a meal there when I am in wanaka.
The staff is friendly and lovely. Highly recommend , the taste and spicy level is just perfect, really satisfying for an asian stomach. The meal portion is moderate, good value for the price.
