Very delicious food! Indoor and outdoor dining. Nice vibe and relaxing. Food is absolutely delicious! All pasta I think is homemade or just very fresh! The gnocchi with the beef cheek was soooo good - so tender and soft! The rigatoni is slightly baked - yummy and the tagliatelle is awesome!! Would come back again! We also ordered the pear salad with Gorgonzola cheese
I've eaten at a lot of Italian places while traveling, but this one is the absolute worst. The food is super salty. Plus, the seafood smells fishy. I've heard the manager is really rude, but luckily we didn't meet him, or it would've spoilt our trip mood entirely. This is definitely the worst meal I've ever had in NZ. It's clear the restaurant doesn't care much about its food or service, wish they could step up their game with better food and friendlier service.

Glad we chose to dine here. They serve Roman-style pizzas cooked in a stone oven with an open fire which were really good. However, the ventilation of the restaurant should be improved. I could smell the smoke from the oven when we entered the restaurant which affected our dining experience.
Had a wonderful dining experience at Francesca Wanaka! The pasta was absolutely delicious. The desserts were a perfect finish—sweet and satisfying. The service was top-notch, and the outdoor seating with stunning views made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
