A must visit if you are in Wanaka. It is so nice to go somewhere that serves delicious healthy food. All meat options are cooked incredibly well. Combining great flavours without overpowering the beautiful taste of the meat. Then the hot veggie and salad options don't just feel like a side to the meat. They are a meal in of themselves, again combining a beautiful variety of flavours into one superb dish. It is difficult to recommend a specific dish as they are all delicious. We had takeaway plates. The restaurant is incredibly busy, so be prepared to get takeaway plates. The lake is just across the road, and there are plenty of picnic benches, so you can still enjoy a hot, fresh meal with stunning surroundings. They have a little counter with some desserts. I had the chocolate orange cake, and it was delightful. Incredibly moist sponge with fresh taste of orange, then topped with a smooth, rich dark chocolate icing. Delicious!!
Love the concept of this place! We got 2x big takeaway plates and enjoyed every bite. Super flavoursome, fresh and healthy - food that's good for the soul. Wish I lived nearby so I could enjoy it every week!
Got the large plate and for the amount and quality of food you get it's still great value! Tasty, healthy and generous! The sweet potato bake was incredible and we sat enjoying the food whilst looking at the lake
Based on the great recommendation, we decided to stop by for a quick visit and treat ourselves to a delicious meal. The location is lovely, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options. Inside, there are cozy seating arrangements that create a welcoming atmosphere.nnYou order directly at the counter, where you can choose from three portion sizes: small, medium, and large. I opted for the medium size and had my plate filled with a variety of delicious and fresh toppings. The food was incredibly tasty and well-prepared, leaving us thoroughly impressed.nnWe truly enjoyed our meal and would definitely eat here again if we return.nnYummy!
We had the medium 5 option plate, all vegetarian options. It was good, but not worth returning. The desserts were ok, but the fig pear molasses loaf vegan was SO dry and did not taste good to me. Limited sitting inside and outside. I hate to leave these kinds of reviews, but wanted to be honest.nPros: friendly staff and good Chardonnay!
