Story

Sharing is caring at Alivate. We believe that our food style is best served to share, allowing you to taste the many different fresh and vibrant flavours we have to offer. Our young and enthusiastic team of chefs have taken care to devise our menu with this in mind and all of our unique dishes are designed to be easily shareable. Came for a nice meal, left wondering if we’d somehow ended up at the wrong place. The food was awful and very overpriced. The service was friendly but not particularly professional. The only redeeming factor was the lovely view (which was ruined with glaringly bright lighting just after sunset). The mussels were tasteless (except for one that seemed off), the roti was greasy, the dumplings were more batter than filling and very small, the sliders were average at best. We thought we’d try to redeem the night with dessert, but it took 45 minutes to arrive and the sorbet was half melted.

Great food awedome service. Meals came in waves and was delicious. Don't usually choose vegetarian dishes but was pleasantly surprised how delicious they were. Recommend trying everything you would usually

Service was good and prompt. Food was nice and a good size. Was also a bonus to not have to order rice when ordering a curry. Its slightly more expensive than other places but if you want a different meal while looking at the lake then had here.

Great deck overlooking the lake. Cheap beers during happy hour. Mussels we got were tasty
