My best friend and I spend her birthday Dinner at Amigos and it was very Special! We got a table for outside, without a reservation on a sunday evening, so friendly! The service was so nice and communicative. He had so many tips for us and helped us for our order! The drinks are very delicious. A big recommendation!
Tried several soft tacos. Creative recipes. Some I liked, some didn't- a matter of personal taste, I think they were good overall but for some reason the tortillas were cold. Perhaps best way to order is one by one instead of 3 at a time or the chefs need to heat up tortilla more. However at $6 per taco on Taco Tuesday - excellent value. I had one of the best margaritas in my life there - I will come back to this place later in my trip just to have one more.
Got an outside table on a warm Sunday night wihout waiting. The staff was lovely, the food was incredible. And we loved our cocktails and the beer aswell!
Tacos were surprisingly delicious and large portion sizes. They have a ton of options, so there truly is a taco or other menu item for everyone. Great option for a casual lunch in Wanaka.
