The 5 stars go directly to young staff member Andrew. We needed a small piece of timber… he searched everywhere for an offcut… found one and then even cut it to our specifications and allowed us to take it for nothing as it would have been binned otherwise. Thank you Andrew… you were so patient and had such an engaging personality… a real breath of fresh air.
Tommy in the paint area has to be one of the most helpful, patient and knowledgeable people I have come across. He is an asset to bunnings and I appreciate his help, time and effort into explaining how to do some work around my house. Thanks Tommy!
So this is supposed to be the mega store or Bunnings! It definitely has more selection compared to others. Note to caution! Entrance to the carpark can be a nightmare during peak times. The bottle neck of entry and exit.
It's huge!nMaybe have a map of the warehouse detailing where items are, perhaps where they can be found detailing on which warehouse shelf item is positioned.nObviously this in a paper format will be difficult to maintain as stock changes/updates, maybe have an electronic stock sheet detailing position within the warehouse as an excel spreadsheet?
Gabby in Special Orders at Mentone store was absolutely terrific today in her helpfulness, noticing herself we needed some support and approaching us to assist.nShe was motivated to help, seemed interested, clear in her communication and advice and in directing us where we can find what we were looking for.nWe couldn’t see the plumbing product on the shelf and Gabby suggested a previous purchase receipt or PowerPass might help to find the product in the cash register and then on the shelf. This worked. We went back to Gabby 2 more times for direction.nStill helpful, still motivated, and still thinking outside the square.nGreat service and help Gabby.nYou are a gem.nIf service in Australia was usually like this we would be a stand out.nThank you Gabby.
