My daughter picked up her Christmas lady. When she got home she realised that it was not her order. She rang them and spoke to a boy there who was very rude to her, she was then transferred to a lady by the name of Carly who advised her that she had been given the wrong lay by.nBecause she works she had to have me go over to swap what she got for the right one.nI was discussed that there was not an apology in sight.nI’ve shopped at Target all my life and never experienced such poor customer service
Don’t buy presents in Target. The policy is too strict and they won’t change it without receipt. Even if you got it the day before and Target branded clothes they have it in store now.
I went into the store today dressed in gym clothes and a beanie. I liked the things I bought and was rushing to get back to my home office. I find Target to have a great selection of clothes and good quality for the price. What I didn’t like is the customer experience. This nasty women at the exit checkouts told me it was her job to stand directly behind me and watch me. Stalking behaviour I said to her would you like to put the items through for me as there is multiple? She was quick to say that’s not her job. I said to her I’ve got a problem with you standing in my back and asked of she can move to the right she could see everything. She said in a loud voice it’s my job! She moved one step then one step back. I proceeded to walk out after I paid for my items. Then the buzzer went off.at the exit - i said is that me? The lady at exit door said I’ll see it’s probably a tag and did you buy shoes. The women took the shoes out my bag and said it was the shoes. I said why didn’t that women who watched my every move not alert me to the fact that shoes have electric tags ever move remove this tag. Then I hear the exit checkout women saying in her earpiece remove everything from her bag. Then the exit door women starts removing everything from my bag and told me I’m calling for a manager. I said why exactly? I don’t understand. She said it’s what we do. So the manager arrives she puzzled why she’s there when I have my receipt and correct matching items but goes through everything again!! I reiterate that this is over the top as the exit checkout women watched over my every move but didn’t tell me tags were in the shoes!!? The manager said it’s standard even in Kmart. I said I’ve shopped in Kmart regularly and this has never happened. My items were put iv my bags like a dogs dinner - thrown together no apology on how I was treated. I put it down to how I was dressed as I’m usually in office clothes and never experienced this disgusting behaviour ever at Southland anywhere. I think the staff are rude and should maybe apply to be prison officers instead as they would be good at it. Shoppers are not criminals. I recommend staff on at least 1 checkout for multiple items. Kmart have this!!nI will be no rush to return to Target and highly recommend the staff are either replaced or can do course on basic customer service skills and helpi them to understand the customer experience as this model of behaviour is absolutely disgusting - no wonder there was only 10 customers at the most across the store. Target It’s how you make people feel. I was feeling so happy with all my great purchases but then made to feel like a criminal and stacked staff. Not good!
Target is great for adult and kids clothing and kids presents. But good lord the range of kids stuff, clothes, toys, games, books, party stuff, shoes, accessories particularly for princesses and on and on and on. Target now stock products from FAO Schwartz the revered American toy company and I couldn't resist picking up a tiny teddy. Went in for coat-hangers and came out with new gym gear leggings and t-shirts, wrapping paper, jam gift sets and yes coat hangers. They also stock retro branded t-shirts, socks and pyjamas think Coke t-shirts, Splice pyjamas and Pringles socks! Self-serve checkout easy to use. 12.11 I really love this time of the year at all the department stores! Brought kids Xmas pyjama sets, Batman action figure, F.A.O Schwartz purse set and for reasons unknown a yoyo with instruction booklet for all those yoyo tricks! Target really has everything! 16.2.23 great Easter gifts and themed clothing.
Love the alternative entrance so you don't need to go through the mall. Staff are always so friendly!
