The recent change to Kmart’s exchange policy is a joke. They will no longer accept an exchange without a receipt, which makes it impossible to exchange items that have been gifted.nnCompletely understandable that a refund can’t be given with no proof of purchase, but not being able to exchange brand new current stock Kmart branded clothing with tags on makes it incredibly difficult for parents who have been gifted the wrong size clothing for their children. Kmart has built its whole brand on families, now they’re imposing policies that are completely not family friendly.nnThe staff member at the so-called “customer service” desk who informed me of the new policy was incredibly rude to boot.nnI won’t be shopping at Kmart any more as I’m not interested in supporting a company that is so inflexible and uncompromising to their customers. It will be interested to see how many other families turn their backs on Kmart.
I rarely go to Kmart - mistake!!! Oh my goodness they have nearly everything. Great for fast fashion, budget cosmetics, accessories, menswear, kids clothes etc etc and anything you could possibly want for a kids party. Kmart have very obviously worked out who their market is and cater accordingly. Though the books section is pretty bad, actually more of an afterthought but bibliophiles are not who Kmart is targeting. 7.4 yes think K Mart is still best for kids party supplies. However what I really dislike is the checkouts in the middle of the store. I guess there must have been a business case for this but if it was so great why haven't their competitors adopted it?
Click and collect orders take too long and frequently get cancelled for no stock at Southland. Whereas theChadstone and Clayton stores are on top of it. So quickly the order is ready and even got a reminder sms next day. Unfortunately parking is so hard at Chaddy, and Clayton is double the distance for me. They even get stock from other stores for you, and still quicker than Southland.
Purchased a vacuum cleaner yesterday and have just opened it to find the head clearly very used. It’s scratched, rusty and covered in hair… I have been trying to get through to customer service but have been told they are only dealing with online purchases.
One of the bigger Kmarts, has a huge range of products.nnGreat for clothes and toys for the kids, good enough quality that they last til kids grow out of them.nnSome really good bargains can be had especially with clearance items of which there seems to be alot at this particular Kmart Got adult sneakers for $2 a pair and toddler shoes for 50 cents. Womens tops from $1 to $10 also on clearance.
