OK I love Myer but most items aren't priced which is so frustrating. There were a lot of staff about which is great but maybe instead of chatting with each other they could price the stock. Retail is detail!! Great range of Christmas stock. And fantastic reusable shopping bags with black and white photos of ye olde Myer.
Going back to my childhood, Myer always seemed like somewhere special to go shopping. It has lost its gloss in my view. Even so, you are a chance to pick up some good stuff on sale, many big name brands are on offer, the staff are friendly and helpful and the stock is well presented, making for a visually appealing store. There are toilets on levels 2 & 3 which is handy if you're desperate. Yes, it is more expensive in general in a similar way to the long time opposition David Jones and this means other stores will appeal more. Despite this it is worth a look around.
Really enjoying shopping here again after many years. Great variety I usually buy items when on sale and they have lots of sales across the store. The staff are friendly and helpful. Love accruing points to get vouchers it's another perk.
Most times had out of stock for things we later found at the Chadstone Myer. Most clothings can be found at target/kmart/bigw for half the price but equal quality or for some even at thrift shops for even cheaper. Only really go here because we had a couple giftcards and some brands are otherwise only online or uncommon like Miss Shop and Windsor-Smith.
It's the only Myers I enjoy shopping at. Although still not surprising not customer service, or staff to be seen. Only to be found at registers and hovering there. And ask for help it's like they are reluctant to do any more. It's a shame. But store we presented and well stocked.
I put through an online order on the last night of a sale, the next day the purchase had been cancelled and refunded, but nobody contacted me or has made any effort to source the product I ordered and at the time, the stock was available on the website. Just been messed with and not a single person contacted me about it before finalising the refund. Rude.
Myer is by far my favourite store when shopping. I love bargains good quality return policy. The staff are very helpful and patient, Caters for all sizes, should I say more! There should be a new system for paying items. Usually noone is at the counters. Thank you Figen
Could be good if they answered their phones. Their 1300 number is useless. Tried every option but cannot get through to their Southland store. Used to be so easy when every store had a phone number, but now they don't want to speak to customers
Went in today with a friend to exchange a perfume for another as she had a change of mind. During our Christmas shopping spree we were approached by a woman who asked if we needed assistance, to which I explained my friend was going to action an exchange - but not until we found the perfume she wanted instead. She then proceeded to follow us very closely and look at us suspiciously while we browsed perfumes and her close proximity made us uncomfortable. I get it, I also work retail in the centre and am cautious about shoplifting. However, it was obvious we weren’t going to steal as we were carrying various bags of purchased from other stores too. What a way to make you feel like a criminal, especially around Christmas! I will say, the other staff who acknowledged us and offered assistance were very welcoming.
Always love Myer's service until yesterday. Tried to return an online set of cutlery in the kitchen section. The lady said the online system was down, "told" to come back another time she was generally unkind especially as i had my 2 small kids with me and this big bulky myer box and had traveled there specifically to do the return. Then refused to offer a bag when my hands were clearly full. So I just walked on over 5 metres to toys and did it there, the lady helped me in 20 seconds. The kitchen lady was not nice, quite unpleasant from the very start. Enough for me to bother writing this review.
