Excellent, professional service in Emergency from doctor and triage nurse. Of course there was waiting time, as other reviewers comment. The reason is obvious - plenty of people want to be seen.  I saw no staff standing around and chatting.nThe investigations I needed were done efficiently and as promptly as could be reasonably expected.nThe initial reception person and one nurse could use some empathy training. Patients are vulnerable people. All other contacts were excellent.nThe attending doctor was skilled in her medical management and a true doctor in her warm manner and thorough explanation of a worrying condition.  I have great confidence in this hospital

Went for day surgery yesterday and was treated with kindness and courtesy by all staff and Drs. Makes such a difference when people are caring. Was given a bed in a private room, lucky it was a quieter day. Thanks to all that looked after me, your thoughtfulness was appreciated!

I came here for my first surgery and I was extremely anxious and upset upon arriving. The day surgery staff saw how upset I was and got me in straight away and I had Dr David unfortunately cannot remember his last name console me and sit with me reassuring me. He made me smile and made me feel extremely safe. The process of the surgery went smoothly and entering the operating theatre I was treated with respect and reassured I’d be okay.nJust want to say a massive thank you to everyone, you guys are amazing and the work you do doesn’t go unnoticed

All staff involved in my care were professional, kind and empathetic from the ER to maternity ward and day surgery. I feel like I was given exceptional care every step of the way. I'm glad I didn't go to Nepean hospital, it's much smaller so easier to get around and find parking.

I had a really bad eye and ear infection where I was in constant discomfort and stinging/itching pain. I went to the emergency department and waited 7 hours to be seen by a docter, by the time I was seen I listened to the docter practically talk to himself guessing what my infection could be while he could've been doing tests or helping me with the pain he then explained why he thought it could be one thing or the other for minutes on end doing me no help he eventually told me to go home and rest.nI really needed help so I called up nepean hospital and they referred me to a specialist, I sent through photos of how bad my infection was and they told me to go to emergency right away. I went to nepean and was seen almost instantly, got tests done and got immediate help and care. Hospital is a last resort for me and to see a docter and have him talk down to me and send me home with an infection as bad as mine disgusting.
