I am constantly let down by the stock in the ladies section. Every time I look I do not understand why they are completely out of size 6 ladies clothing or there is only 1 item left yet the plus size area is almost half the size of the complete woman's clothing area. I have asked multiple times regarding not having size 6 in stock and the blanket explanation is that it sells out very fast. Simple fix...order more in this size!!
It is a big store which is usually fully stocked. Most staff are good. Usually I have no issues shopping here.nnHowever today I had a bad experience due to a grumpy old female staff member who was well past her pension age. There was no one looking after the self checkout machines. So when one machine started playing up, I looked around and waited for a staff member. When I could not find any, I started to use another machine. This is when grumpy staff member showed up and in a raised voice tried to lecture me that she was busy and I should have waited. Due to her age and fragile health, I decided not to reply back. Turned out grumpy old staff was just hanging out with someone outside the checkout areas. After fixing the self-check out machine, she left the checkout area again and restarted her casual conversations.nnI hope the management realizes that the good work of many can easily be spoiled by only one. If there are more staff like her, the store reputation will go down fast.
Lovely helpful staff member on the checkout tills. Called Ann, she’s very friendly, and efficient quick process through the checkouts. Always happy to get served by a welcoming staff member who is smiling and enjoys her job! 5 Stars
I went to Big W on Tuesday 25th June at about 3pm. I would like to thank Liz at the entrance of the store who called Stacey to help me with something I needed to purchase. Both ladies were friendly and very helpful even though it was not their dept I needed help with. Great service
We went to go grab some party stuff for my kid she was having a purple themed party and to my surprise when we arrived that all of the purple party stuff wasn't in store anymore. My kid was pretty disappointed but we just had to drive to another Big W to find it. Also there were so many boxes lying around in the store and random trolleys around. These were really annoying especially as we were trying to navigate our ways through the store.
