Nice shop, good selection IF you can get anyone to serve you or even take your money. I waited 20mins in the cosmetic department while a customer service lady was on a go slow with another customer. Surely you can be efficient and nice to your customers without chatting like you have all day. I could not find another person anywhere. I came home and shopped online!
We went to David Jones yesterday to buy women slacks for myself for work. It just seems the David Jones brand suits my shape! Jackie staff member was so incredibly helpful. She helped me download the store app so that I can start collecting points. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She truly is an excellent asset to the David Jones team. We are grateful!
Lovely peaceful atmosphere in David Jones - Garden City. Brenda was exceptionally wonderful and helpful with her customer service interacting in conversation with product knowledge, store information and lovely authentic chit chat. Ann was lovely in ladies intimates with a wonderful soft nature which made her approachable and professional for the rather sensitive and delicate job of bra fittings - her product knowledge was exceptional. She helped my son choose a fabulous suit, and her knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. She made the whole experience easy and enjoyable with her warm and friendly manner. We really appreciated her guidance – a true asset to the store and to Joe Black.
Dear David Jones Customer Service,nI’m writing to express my disappointment today visit to your Booragoon store.nDuring my time there, I unknowingly tried on a pair of earrings, not realizing that doing so was against store policy due to hygiene or health reasons. I completely understand and respect such policies; however, there were no visible signs or clear indications to inform customers that trying on earrings was not permitted.nWhat left me particularly upset was the way the situation was handled by a staff member, a woman with short hair, who approached me in a very rude and abrupt manner. Rather than politely informing me of the policy, she questioned me with, “Which country are you from?” I found this comment to be completely inappropriate, unnecessary, and frankly, discriminatory. It made me feel embarrassed, uncomfortable, and unfairly judged.nThis experience was not what I expected from a store with the reputation of David Jones. I believe all customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of background. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that steps are taken to ensure a more inclusive and respectful environment in the future.
