I recently had a positive shopping experience at Big W in Kingsway. The store boasts a wide variety of products, making it a convenient one-stop-shop for everyday needs. Went in earlier today searching for an item, when my friend and I couldn’t find what we were looking for we tried to find a near by staff, one male staff was busy with another customer so we waited for him to be free. However then an older female lady walked around from the corner and was just about to pass us so I said “excuse me were you busy?” In a polite way asking if she was with someone. Rudely she snapped saying “what do you want I’m not in this section”. I was taken a bit aback from that as how was I suppose to know that. After describing the item we were looking for she pawned us off to another female staff member who was also not that friendly and was snappy towards us when we said we didn’t have a specific variation of the item we were after just the general area of it and she got mad because apparently we were to know a specific item for her to “help” us. They weren’t much help and shouldn’t be in customer service.

I had accidentally pushed no for a recipt in the self checkout I kindly asked the lady if she could please print one off for me and anyone would have thought I had asked for a million dollars....she was extremely rude! Made a joke with the other staff member before she walked over to help me. Not very good customer service!

Not overly impressed with the online ordering and click and collect- direct to boot.nOrdered 2 items- both said available at this particular store which is why I ordered from there even though it was further away from home .One item got cancelled, which was annoying as I then still had to go there to pick up one item- no option to cancel whole order.nThen for the click and collect- I notified them of arrival time, told them I was on my way 15 minutes before getting there. Then it still took 15 minutes to arrive once there. Another person who arrived after me got their products first.nQuite annoying when in a rush. It should be a more seamless experience.
