Today I had the pleasure of picking up the T-Cross I purchased from Daniel Ross at Fairfield Volkswagen and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. From start to finish, Daniel went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and he along with Olivia and the team made the whole process a breeze. My family and I had a great experience at Bayford Volkswagen Fairfield. We bought our new 2021 Tiguan from Bayford Volkswagen Fairfield and were very happy with the sales experience. Simon was friendly, patient, and never pressured us to buy. As their slogan promises, we did “drive away happy”. So when our car developed a mysterious slight rattle a few months ago, we took it back to the dealership’s service department to get checked out, not having an inkling of the nightmare that awaited us. We dropped the car off on the morning of Saturday, 7 May, and by noon got a call that the rattle had been fixed but on a test drive, they had got into an accident! According to them, a local resident had backed out of his driveway without looking and hit our brand-new car on the front passenger side. Bill, the service team member who had checked us in, was very empathetic and apologetic, put us in a T-Roc as a loan car and promised that they would commence repairs immediately without waiting for insurance. While shocked that our car could get damaged while in the dealer’s care, we were somewhat mollified by Bill’s helpfulness. However, this feeling quickly dissipated when we were contacted by the service manager Rowan who just brushed off Bill’s promise and said they would go through the insurance process. We did not find out until we contacted Volkswagen Australia that they apparently had received a repair estimate of $13,000, which they found too much to cover despite the Bayford group consisting of 11 dealerships! It took nearly two weeks for the insurance to give them the go-ahead, and then another two weeks for the repair to be done. We found communication with Rowan very difficult, we felt that he showed next to no sympathy, he did not keep us updated as he promised he would, and eventually hung up on us when we questioned his management of our situation. There was no acknowledgment of responsibility for damage that had occurred while the car was in their care but just an emphasis on how it wasn’t their fault. We were shocked at this treatment and the imperceptible progress of the repair, and out of desperation, we reached out to Volkswagen Australia, who were more sympathetic but did not resolve the issue either. Things started to look up when we were contacted by Nick, the dealership’s manager. He was much more sympathetic and understanding, offered us a larger Tiguan for loan, and kept us informed about progress. When we accepted his offer of the larger Tiguan, he delivered it personally and also arranged for a team member to drop off our car once it had been repaired, cleaned and filled up. As a goodwill gesture, he offered us 3 years of free servicing with them, which we gratefully accepted. His calm, caring attitude restored some of our faith in Bayford Volkswagen, and it is purely due to him that this is a 2-star review, not a 1-star review.
We came in to Volkswagen looking for a new car for immediate delivery due to a recent not-at-fault write-off. Cameron looked after us and took the time to look up available T Cross cars across the dealerships. The car and customer service was great, we just ended up going with another brand as they had a car available sooner and for capped servicing over 5 years.
Got a 2nd hand Golf TSI from Daniel Ross for my daughter's 1st car. The process was smooth and Daniel was easy and friendly to deal with.
I purchased a Volkswagen t-roc from Daniel Ross at the Fairfield dealership and had a fantastic experience. Daniel was great to deal with, answered all my questions promptly but was just a genuine all round nice guy to deal with. Would highly recommend baggies Volkswagen Fairfield and seek out Daniel when you are there!
Marcus has been amazing from the start of our VW purchase, the best price by a long shot and went out of his way to source our Troc R. We were kept well informed of the process from start to finish. No questions were too difficult and the car was delivered as promised. Post delivery we had a little hiccup and both Marcus and Sam went above and beyond expectations to sort this out for us. We are extremely happy with the service we have received from VW Fairfield. Just amazing.
Recently purchased 2 new cars at Bayford. Hilal Kayal was our sales consultant and he was super helpful. Hilal is a very personable individual who took the time and patience to look after us and made sure we got the best deal possible. Also, we were delighted to have Olivia Johnstone Business Manager to help us set up our financing. She made it very easy to understand the T's & C's and took care of everything. Highly recommend the Bayford team for a nice personal feeling.
We was just looking around to change our cars and Bayford Fairfield was the first showroom we stopped by. Lucky enough we met Hilal Kayal. He is very patient, knowledgeable and personable.
