Excellent car buying experience. Treated with the utmost respect, listened to, supported with a range of second hand car options including one or two about to arrive at the dealership that may have suited my needs. Nic helped with test driving and discussing the features with no feeling of pressure. Special mention to Krissy in finance who has been fabulous since day 1! Absolutely fabulous service and respect for all staff we encountered. Danny and especially Nick who looked after us Saturday morning. My children and I are so happy with the vehicle, presentation, and supported when I asked questions Nick didn't make me feel uneducated regarding newer vehicles and how they technically work. He made me feel comfortable during the whole process. Thanks Nick & Melb City Toyota staff.
I have not had the best experience, from the start when I made the order for my new car, the sales person acted like he was taking an order. Our car was delayed which is understandable due to the current climate which I don't have problem with, but i had to follow up to get updates constantly. We also had some extra circumstances which we had to factor, hence why i was keen to know when the car would be ready. We receive the new car, and it was missing a cover at the front. Which they have ordered, i sent a follow up email to my sales person and received no reply. Also still have not received the the cover or any correspondence on when i will receive it. Then did our new car 4 week service, they said the service would take 2 hours and it took 4 hours. Again i asked about the cover i was missing and that they would follow up and had no response. Over all the experience has been average and they just take orders cause of the current climate. Love the car but service was average at best.

My partner and I have held off doing this review for as long as possible however we have now reached our limit and our patience has run out. This is not necessarily a reflection on Heidelberg Toyota but more a review of Toyota as a whole in regards to a buyers experience. We purchased a CHR on 31st July 2021. Upon purchasing this car, there were no expected delays or issues with the car arriving on time as expected. We were told that the car was expected to arrive in November 2021 however to allow for early 2022 in case of any delays due to COVID which is fair enough. However, it is now September 2022 and I am still waiting for a car. We have no expected ETA as the car has not even been scheduled for production yet which to me basically means that we are in the same position as we were when we purchased the car in July last year. Now that we’ve had to wait so long the colour we ordered has now been discontinued and so now not only are we still waiting for a car that we purchase 13 months ago we've not even getting the car we ordered and wanted. Surely they should fulfil the orders for any cars in the colour a customer has ordered and stop taking new orders for that colour before discontinuing it? Having family who have worked for Toyota for their entire careers we feel so let down by this process and it has made us seriously reconsider whether we would ever purchase another Toyota again. We understand COVID has caused issues with supply and that demand for cars is high but a 10+ month delay on ETA with no end in sight is beyond ridiculous at this point. We have zero confidence that we will receive our car before 2023 and at this point we're considering just calling it quits and going elsewhere. We'd encourage anyone to consider doing the same or at the very least take Toyota's estimated delivery dates with a grain of salt.
Were do I start. Well the sales man's attitude over the phone is a joke. The biggest covid tax rip off on there new cars. And he had the decency to call me a cheap cun# over the phone. Don't go here go else were you will get looked after and treated much better
Having always been very impressed by the service department we decided to buy a second hand car from Melbourne City Toyota Heidelberg. David Ellis, pre-owned vehicle specialist, couldn't have been more helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about his stock. In our view he is a tangible asset to the business. David not only helped us with our purchase but was also very patient and co-operative working around us & our somewhat complicated family schedule with handing over the new vehicle and our trade-in. His after sales service follow-up have been exemplary. We could not recommend him and Melb City Toyota Heidelberg too highly.
TERRIBLE service in Sales. Called to request a test drive. Person named Vu took the call and said he’d call back in 5 mins. Didn’t happened. I called him back after not hear from him for almost an hour. He the. Told me he organised the car. Went into centre, he was lounged back on his mobile, clearly too busy to call me back. Did the drive and had some questions and he reluctantly told me to look on their website for everything I asked. Did not ask me one single thing and couldn’t have been the least interested if he tried
Great helpful staff. A bit disappointing regarding trying to get finance from them. Rigid criteria. Good range of quality cars with low kms

We have now become friends and we cannot wait to buy another vehicle from you. Highly Highly recommended. Both Hugh and Albert's customer service is outstanding and second to none!
