Story

The Auburn Hotel, formally the Geebung Polo Club, combines the old world charm of the late 1800’s with friendly, attentive service and a product offering of uncompromising quality.

The heritage-style building and ornate Victorian decor create an inviting environment of comfort and style, whilst its contemporary menus and extensive beverage selection provide a degree of choice to gratify even the most discerning tastes.

Boasting spacious lounge areas, tastefully appointed function rooms, a huge undercover outdoor courtyard and newly renovated dining room, this multi-award winning venue is open seven days a week for dining, drinks and entertainment.

The Auburn Hotel has gained a reputation for throwing a great party and we love hosting events for Melbourne Food and Wine, Good Beer Week and Oktoberfest.

Solid pub grub. Tasty and big enough Parma where it hits that Parma craving. Parma comes with a cream slaw and decent chips. Steak, although cooked exactly as asked, was under-seasoned. Not bad as a special on steak night . But left feeling satisfied.
We've been going to this historic establishment for years ... the old Geebung ...nnWe love the building, the extension and vibes from this old and modern venue, sadly the food does not complement the historical building and the modern extension, nearly tried all on the menu, the only one we were impressed with is their beef cheek special menu, the rest of the menu, including desserts, are not well cook, bland and just boring ... these days we are there for thier steak night and drinks.nnOne great thing about this venue is the service, Iko and the team in the dining area works hard especially when short staff, always full of smiles and gave us their best, and making sure things are good, thank you.
One of the best atmosphere and vibe especially while they had special event! Free petting zoo with the farm animals.nFood experience was bit mixed.nWe had exceptional dish pork belly, okay dish chicken parma and not good dish calamari.
We had a lovely gathering at Auburn Hotel, and everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we all felt right at home. The historic charm of the venue added a special touch, and the garden area was ideal for the kids – safe, fun, and spacious.nGreat service, beautiful atmosphere, and very family-friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
Eat here every week pretty much a Parma. It’s such a great pub, great food, family friendly and no fuss….. Ofter grab a few take away pizzas too for the next day - Need to bring back those $17 midweek lunch pizzas 10/10 I’ve been coming here since the late 90’s when it was a party pub on a Sunday - Now wirj my family and friends. They’re also always accommodating with menu changes, grilled fish or calamari instead of fish just a great all round feed &,good drinks.
