The Auburn Hotel, formally the Geebung Polo Club, combines the old world charm of the late 1800’s with friendly, attentive service and a product offering of uncompromising quality.

The heritage-style building and ornate Victorian decor create an inviting environment of comfort and style, whilst its contemporary menus and extensive beverage selection provide a degree of choice to gratify even the most discerning tastes.

Boasting spacious lounge areas, tastefully appointed function rooms, a huge undercover outdoor courtyard and newly renovated dining room, this multi-award winning venue is open seven days a week for dining, drinks and entertainment.

Visited Auburn Hotel for steak night with a group of four. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. It seemed like they were short on staff, as service was noticeably slow. We had to ask a couple of times to get our drinks frist, and the wait for food was excessive. To top it off, they mistakenly gave our order to the next table, which added another 10 minutes to our wait.nnWhile mistakes happen, we appreciated the complimentary dessert they offered to make up for it, and the waitresses were amazing—super friendly and attentive.nnHowever, the steak was disappointing. The taste and cook were 1/5. You could distinctly taste the burnt flavor, likely from gas instead of charcoal, and there were no sauce options offered. Sadly, this took away from what should have been a good steak night.nnThank you
We came by on a Sunday for the petting zoo and what a great experience with the kids. We haven’t been back for a few years and was surprise to see the revamp of the property with an outdoor playground added and the Pavilion building.nnFood was a little pricy though with mains generally over $30. But the staff were great and service was very quick. Booking is 100% recommended and we will be back again.
The Auburn is another great example of effort being put into an historic building and turning it into a charming pub.nnThe staff were great and very easy to talk to, making great suggestions on food and drink choices.nnThe food is of decent quality, but we had an issue with some rare steak being well done and a few other mix ups.nnI do recommend visiting though.
My sister and I had one of the best nights out with our kids, in a long time. Bubbly atmosphere, great food, excellent service, and a playground for kids! We usually have to go to suburban pubs with average food and atmosphere for that. We'll definitely be back.
Great beer garden which has an enclosed playground for the kids. Good food and service. Definitely recommend for a sunny weekend lunch or evening with family and friends.
