We enjoyed a most pleasant vibrant and fun night and must commend All Staff from the moment we were allowed entry... your super wonderful and professional staff had genuine smiles and most friendly service and attitude. This has really added to the great vibe of Temperance Hotel, some even went out of their way!!! They all deserve a raise😇 and that same crew from last Night, you need to hang onto!!!! ...All the best for 2018....Thanks for a most awesome night.

Friendly, welcoming staff with exceptional service. The meal was beautiful and we'll priced. Our table staff were awesome. Definitely Highly recommended.

Attended this highly rated establishment as a “must” on a fine Saturday night in the hope of welcoming my fellow travellers to Melbourne and what this fine city has to offer. To my dismay I was I instructed to exit the queue into the lower bar as I was deemed “too casual” by one bouncer. I understand certain areas have a formal dress code but this was certainly one that did not consistently assert this. I pointed out to the bouncer that a young man was walking around behind him in the facinity wearing a t-shirt and shorts. This was the same gentleman who denied a pair of jeans and t-shirt as “casual”. He claimed that that same gentleman was “in earlier” which makes no sense in law. This was illegal. Frankly, this was embarrassing, especially in front of my friends who I had raved that this bar was not arrogant nor pompous. I was clearly wrong and the staff were frankly unreasonable in their efforts at “customer service”. 1/10. Would not attend again. Poor attitude. Bad service.

A great night out, with good tunes and friendly staff. The food is pretty average though. The pizza we ordered had no flavour, the fat chips were essentially half potatoes, however all were presented nicely.

Bouncers have a bad attitude and need more training. My self and a female friend got up to use the bathroom. The bouncer on the door let her through but not me!?? He said I have to use the main entrance where there’s a massive queue of people who have not been in yet and all showing their ID’s. Very strange when I’ve been there for at least a hour and walked in and out two or three times. No explanation, just a bad attitude from the door staff.
