There's nothing illegal about Speakeasy Kitchen Bar on Chapel Street in South Yarra, but the cobbled back alley entrance from Commercial Road to the courtyard bar may indicate otherwise. The Chapel Street frontage is a welcoming admission to a light and airy space for eating and drinking the day (and night) away. The sizable terrace out the back reinforces the secretive prohibition era theme and the impressive cocktail accompanies an all-day menu which means you have every reason to stay for the long haul.
