The food here is amazing!! Jacqui is very pleasant and the staff were all very well trained, polite, efficient and very professonal. Would strongly recommend if you like very pleasing atmospheres and fresh amazing food.

Was in Mel on Sunday and decided to the alleged best Egyptian food. Checked the google maps and it says that it’s open on midday at 12, took one hour UBER to go there around 12:40 and guess what IT IS CLOSED. Even their opening hours details says they open on 12 but it was closed! What is worse than disrespecting their own opening time?

I'd love to love this place - the staff are sooooo nice, and they have good specials - but the lighting is SO BAD! It's like a doctor's surgery. After a long day of working under fluorescent office lighting, the last thing I want is to feel like it's closing time at a nightclub and they've turned on the "ugly lights." This place has so much potential, but sadly it's mostly empty, while its neighbours Bosuzoku and Leonard's are packed. It sounds like such a small picky thing, but I swear they'd pick up if they got a pro in to redesign the lighting. Shisha, great service and great food should be enjoyed under gentle, moody ambiance rather than police interrogation lights.

Amazing food..so great to find an Egyptian restaurant with amazing Egyptian cuisine! Would highly recommend
