Booked the courtyard function room for a 21st and couldn't be happier with how it was handled. Great looking function room and easy going owner and staff made it an excellent night. Would highly recommend Carpe Diem for your next event!

I discovered this bar as my friend goes her regularly and asked me to come down and check it out. And impressed I was.

Situated on Prahran's Commercial Road, and with it's modern furnishings and style, has a real home feel and staff that are so accommodating and always have a  smile on their face.

There is the court yard bar out the back with the indoor/outdoor feel, and the upstairs seating areas for bigger groups for catch ups.

They do snack ups such as wedges, calamari, etc but defintley a great catch up place or end of night drinks bar,

I recommend the Espresso Martini, and James the owner is lovely as well

Such a great place, awesome staff, awesome food, awesome wine and the atmosphere permeates the patrons. Highly recommend for any solo traveller but also for people of the human race full stop! Makes you feel like your local bar in about 20 mins. Well done guys!

I had my partner's surprise 40th here last month and it was absolutely fantastic.  James could not have done a better job as a host and everybody was raving about the venue.  We had the back open top room and it looked lovely.

Organised a work leaving-do in Carpe Diem 3 weeks ago. Couldn't have gone better! Everyone had a great night and great laugh with the staff! Would highly recommend and we are looking at booking Xmas functions shortly! :)
