I absolutely love the cool, relaxed vibe at this secret Chapel St hideaway. The unassuming entrance is door on the street... up a single flight of polished timber stairs... immediately your welcomed by smiling 'bar folk' and it feels like it's your own private clubhouse . Decor is industrial cross private library, right on trend without being at all pretentious. Dimly lit, with various secluded nooks to chill out, depending on your mood. Staff are genuinely friendly and super efficient, delivering service with a smile. If your a 'Cocktail Queen' like myself, you'll appreciate the vast array of elixirs, including the Katuk Passion; vodka, elder-flower, apple guava topped with a flaming half passion-fruit - both theatrical and delicious! We hosted our staff Christmas party here last Friday, we are only a small group so it is the perfect, intimate venue. Having said that, it's equally as nice to have a couple of lazy bevies with friends. As Arnie would say "I'll be back".

Thank you to Simon, Isabella and Matt for making my cousin Angela's birthday party a great success. I recommend Katuk to anybody looking for a unique place to hold a special occasion. The food, drinks and staff were fantastic and very accommodating.

We hosted a 30th party in the front lounge and Simon and the team were more than accommodating, really understanding and also gave great suggestions regarding the party. We are really happy that it went super well, except that it was on the heaviest of rain's day, but the staff was still very lovely and took care of us really well. The food was great, it probably should come out a bit earlier but because we did the speech late as well which may have pushed the food back. There was nothing to complain.

The bar staff make this place. We just asked for recommendations and they scoped our tastes and made us something fantastic every time! Great atmosphere and seating too.

My gosh I love katuk. My friend took me on a Wednesday night and I met the staff and we hung out for a while and it was a really lovely evening. No faults to Katuk: very enjoyable experience with fine liquor and kind staff
