Nestled in the back streets of Prahran you'll find the College Lawn Hotel, a hotel that offers the warmth and welcoming feel of a favourite local.

The hotel consists of a lounge bar, public bar, function room, bottle-shop, two sun drenched courtyards and a great restaurant. The vibe is casual and laid-back.

Pool tables, happy hours, live sport and slab raffles - if it's not already your local, by the time you leave it will feel like it is.

The College Lawn also offers backpacker accommodation and is a favourite for visiting internationals due to both our location and the comfortable, affordable accommodation on offer.

Great pub for watching sporting events. The outside areas are perfect for handling the larger crowds you expect to be around for the larger more popular events. The inside bar is a decent size too and they've recently moved the bar from the centre of the room to one side which I believe has improved the layout significantly. Every time I've eaten here the food has been of decent quality and decent portion sizes. Give it a go next time you're in the area.
Staff were fantastic, but dinner was disappointing and incredibly expensive for a pub. There is now only one sauce offering for all steaks and schnitzels - red wine jus. They seem to have gotten rid of all other sauce offerings. With eye fillets $63, I think should give a beanaise, mushroom or peppercorn sauce like they used to. I will go to France Soir, Bistro Thierry or other amazing restaurants for a steak, which are cheaper and offer choice of a sauce!!
Great room, for 2 people it was perfect for a few nights. It wasn't open until 12 and we had to spend some time before checking in, as we arrived there at 8 am and no one was in there. Kitchen without a place to cook, but it has a microwave.
Really disappointing with last night's experience. It felt like the staff didn't know what gluten was or vegan meant at all.nWe're completely fine with restaurants/pubs that don't offer these options but when it's advertised as such you would hope they know what they're doing. This place does not.nAfter explicitly stating coeliac and vegan 3 times over, it came to be confirmed that the burger was not gluten free. Some of the other menu items are listed as Vegan, they're not. This is half way during the meal we find this out. Shocking. Me and my partner had the worst experience after eating the food.nFine to have a drink and chill but recommend you move on elsewhere for food even the non vegan food was poor.
How very disappointing. Pub is awesome, but food was a complete letdown and waste of money! All the meals we ordered had no flavour, really very strange. Zero flavour in all 3 dishes but also no salt. Very annoying real disappointing as we heard good things, it’s presented well, but stops there. Don't waste your money!
