There is no shortage of pubs in Hawthorn, and the The Hawthorn Hotel Hawka really stood out for us. It has a nice local vibe, and the food was outstanding.nnWe ordered the Beer Battered Rockling $30, and the Sunday Roast of the Day $28 - which includes a delicious puffed-up Yorkshire Pudding and a generous portion of roasted vegetables. The Sunday Roast is an incredible deal and favoured by many other diners. Unfortunately, the pub no longer offers unlimited roasted vegetables.nnThe nachos are seemingly another favourite as we saw many plates brought out from the kitchen.nnGreat deals on throughout the week - definitely worth another visit!

I recently had the absolute pleasure of hanging out at the Hawthorn Hotel, and wow, what an experience! The service was just amazing. The staff were super attentive and made sure we were taken care of, making us feel totally spoiled.nnOne of the best parts was the live music. The place was buzzing with energy and really made our evening. Even though we didn’t have a booking, the management went out of their way to fit us in, showing just how awesome their customer service is.nnEverything about our visit was spot on. The management at Hawthorn Hotel clearly knows how to run things perfectly. I highly recommend this pub for anyone looking for a fantastic night out. You won't be disappointed!

I tried to order one mocktail and one cocktails @9:55pm. But told closing but google map said 11pm.   Then manager said I can order all drinks but cocktails.  I don’t mind ordering other drinks but the attitude received seems like we are not welcomed here

Went into the Hawthorn Hotel for spur of the moment dinner. Enjoyed a perfect medium rare juicy tender steak with crispy fries and salad for a fabulous deal of $29 on a Wednesday night. Received excellent service from Eve who was very attentive and passed our compliments to the chef. And the chef was very happy and gave us a yummy sticky date pudding for dessert on the house. Highly recommend and will come back again

The food was delicious, and the environment was clean and well-maintained.
