This place used to be my post-exam jam back in undergrad, so glad to see that it's still good! Came here with a few friends after an exam in Caulfield Racecourse and food was incredibly speedy and my friends seemed to enjoy the food! Cheap, fast and worth the money. Will come back again if I'm ever in the neighbourhood.

I’ve been going to Derby Thai for 3/4 years at least once a week because the food is amazing. Tonight I observed one of the cooks blow his nose with a tissue but didn’t wash his hands. He the proceeded to start cooking where he picked his teeth with a finger nail and then with no gloves touch and cooked my roti bread. Once that was cooked he then picked his ear with a finger a few times and then his nose before cooking the next meal. I’m not saying this to cause unnecessary trouble but I was astonished with what I saw occur. Know I won’t be eating there again!

Easy on the pocket. Good food. You may find it difficult to find a place though. It's always packed.

Been eating here for more than decade when it was run by a single Thai lady. Over the years the quality has gone from decent to extremely bad. Now all they seem to care about is take away orders and the food isn't even edible any more. All you can taste is salt to mask any other tastes and no vegetables. Very very disappointed. Over the years I have gone from an advocate to now telling people not to go eat there anymore. Disappointing!

It was first time to visit at this restaurant. The Indian lady who seemed to be boss was very unkind to me. I asked her if I could choose the spicy taste, but she refused to answer me, and the order was not taken until the end.
