Story

Abbotsford's Yorkshire Hotel is back to its former glory. An old fashioned family pub that serves great food all day, in an atmosphere created for our customers enjoyment. Exposed brickwork, timber flooring, open fireplaces and spacious dining rooms compliment an exciting menu that changes each day.

The sheltered outdoor beer garden offers alfresco dining while the cosy saloon bar might be just perfect for that quick catch up with a friend. Whether its lunch or dinner you are after, our Restaurant & Bistro can cater to your exact needs.

Waste of time. If you have any type of allergy you are not welcome here. In today's world and through years of personal experience I find it hard to find a kitchen either 1) can't advertise they can't or won't cater for allergies or similary not cook with nuts for example to avoid that or 2) what modern day kitchen can't contain foods from cross contamination? Considering the allergy is at the very extreme end as in ambulance/hospital within 15minutes or death and has never been a problem before either with informing and being catered for and most importantly no reaction to any food I'm quite taken back by this evenings reaction, especially after sitting down for near half hour before being told. The food might be great but due to the above we were never given a chance to try.

A charming "local" style pub, with very friendly staff, great food and a decent music scene. Children friendly and it has an outdoor beer garden/smoking area.

Old school pub, definitely want to be a regular here or you'll feel like an outsider. Has a good size beer garden and wide selection of beers on tap

Great old school pub. Decent meals and drink prices. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I'd strongly recommend that you check it out if you're looking for a good pub that hasn't become a trendy hipster hang out, this one's for you.
