I've been here on several occasions and loved them all. 
The staff is really friendly and make sure you're well looked after. 
It's a great opportunity to travel and still feel like home staying here able to cook your own meals for you and your family I recommend this motel to all my friends when they travel and I hope they enjoy it as much as I do

Was here with my husband over the September holidays, paid $70 a night we've been to many hostels this is a good standard. This is a hostel with private rooms and new beds but does have shared bathrooms this is not a hotel, if it was a hotel it would be $200 a night. What do people expect??!

This place is now under new management. 

My visit was Febuary 2018. I personality found it a pleasant check in and rooms were in lovely clean  condition for the money. I had a private room with modern fan, fridge and was directly opposite the restrooms. 

Although never used it there is a tiny pool out the back included in the price which looked well maintained. 

Im 42 years of age so possiblly a little more picky than the avarage backpacker and personally couldn't fault my three days there, they even let me stay over whilst I waited for a flight on check out.

Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. 
Interior: Comfortable.  
Exterior: aesthetically pleasing. 
Customer service: Standard.

DO NOT STAY THERE!!! The manager is very rude (with most of the guests), abrupt and uses foul language even at women. They were charged $50 security deposit for the key and manager refused to return security deposit when they went to hand it back. Police told them if he wouldn't give it back, then keep the key. Room very small, no tv, filthy and stunk, no towels, bathroom very unclean. When son phoned to make a booking, was told it was a motel. Is far from it. Needed receipt for tax purposes - Manager refused to give receipt. 
Manager is known to be drunk most of the time, and abusive to many of the guests
He has been reported to the Health Dept, Office Of Fair Trading, Tax Dept and Police.
My son phoned the owner re the way they were treated , the state of the place and the rooms etc, and security key deposit. Owner didn't care at all and told him you always get people complain in this type of accommodation. He obviously doesn't care about his business at all, and was told he really needs to get a new manager.
My son and daughter in law asked me to put this review on for them.
Before my son and daughter in law had gone to this hostel (not motel as informed), I also phoned to make a booking, and the manager spoke to me appallingly as if I was a pig. Told him there's no way I would stay there with his attitude.
If we could leave 0 stars, believe me we would. NOT RECOMMENDED IN ANY WAY!!!!!
