I booked a battery replacement appointment at the Apple Store Penrith and arrived exactly on time. After running all the diagnostic/ignition tests, the staff gave me one time estimate, then changed it to another, and then changed it again. On the third time, I was told to just leave the phone overnight and come back the next day.nnThis is completely unacceptable, especially when the appointment was booked properly and I planned my day around the given time. The lack of communication, constant changes, and confusion showed zero customer service.nnThe staff appeared unorganised and unsure of what they were doing, with no clear explanation or accountability. I wasted hours for something that should have been straightforward.nnVery frustrating experience. I do not trust the staff at this store and would not recommend Apple Penrith if you value your time or expect professional service.
Apple Penrith is a very disappointing place to shop. After reading other customer reviews, it’s clear this is a recurring issue experienced by many customers, from sales staff through to management. If you have a faulty product whether purchased directly from the Apple Store or an authorised retailer the support offered is extremely poor.nnWhile repairs are offered, Apple Penrith cannot provide reasonable timeframes or alternative solutions. Instead, customers are passed back and forth between Apple and the original retailer, with blame constantly shifted rather than issues being resolved. Customers are forced to travel unnecessarily and repeat the same information multiple times.nnBooking a Genius Bar appointment is also frustrating. Appointments are booked for specific times, yet staff are often late, despite customers rearranging their schedules to attend. On top of this, staff can be seen standing around unable or unwilling to assist, while customers wait for help.nnStore management fails to take responsibility or advocate for customers, which only adds to the frustration. Overall, the customer service experience at Apple Penrith is well below expectations and clearly a systemic issue that has affected many people. Significant improvement is needed in how customers are treated and supported
My wife had previously gone in to Apple at Penrith and spoken to a lovely lady called Sonia who helped and explained everything with patience and knowledge both of which I didn’t have. We again returned to the store to purchase some more items and enquire about other things and when Sonia saw that we had been seated with our seven month old and had patiently waited, she came over and once again went above and beyond in customer service, knowledge and assistance. Thank you Sonia for all your patience and your attentive service. Management should be proud to have you as part of their team.
I was recently seriously assaulted and the assailant also smashed my phone, went in to Penrith Apple Store for assistance and they were genuinely caring and helpful. They went out of their way to assist, more than I could have ever asked for, hoped for or expected. Thank you for your compassion, patience and assistance in my time of need.

He was the only team member with a huge genuine smile and that warmth made the whole store feel friendly and calm. Emmanuel clearly loves what he does and knows his stuff, especially about the new iPhone 17 range. He walked me through the features in plain language, highlighted the real world benefits and trade offs, and offered extra details I had not even thought to ask for, all without sounding like a scripted salesperson.nnWhat really stood out was how natural our conversation felt. Emmanuel blended his deep product knowledge with down to earth tips on accessories and setup, which made me feel confident about my purchase. He made a routine trip into a relaxed and enjoyable experience, and I left genuinely glad I bought from him as he informed me with everything I needed.nnIf you visit the Penrith store, ask for Emmanuel his warmth, expertise and easygoing manner make the difference.
