Really disappointing experience. I struggled to get customer service, or even to make eye contact with staff in there. Many times staff walked by me and completely ignored me, when I was clearly waiting for shoe advice. I’m not super fit, and I felt as though I was assessed by staff and considered a non-serious runner. Other customers who entered the store after me were served first. Several customers. I wasn’t even asked if I was happy browsing! I clearly needed assistance, as there is really no information about the shoes available to customers except “trail” and “road”. Other than that it’s customers best guess.nI ended up being served eventually after my more athletic looking son was asked if he needed help. Not only did the guy bring me a different shoe to the one I asked about, he brought me one totally unsuitable for my foot shape and then pretty much dumped me to go and serve a ‘better’ customer when they walked in wearing running gear.nWhat a way to make a paying customer feel worthless. I really prefer to patronise smaller local businesses, but after that experience, I will not be going back there. I have since spoken to friends who have reported a similar experience. So disappointing.
Had a chat to Lex on the phone today about a sale which ended last night, however there was no mention about the sale dates or when it was ending on the website. They couldn’t honour the sale even though I did intend to buy those shoes, instead they blamed me for not going onto their social medial to check the sale end date. Quite poor customer service and would not recommend.
I ordered online after doing a search for a water bottle I was after. Blue Mountains Running Co had the item at the cheapest price so I placed an order. It arrived quickly and well packaged with a nice card so I looked the business up. What a lovely shop! I’m happy to have purchased from a small, passionate retailer and hope to visit one day from Victoria.
Fantastic range ; personable service ; a must visit for anyone who enjoys trail or road running, we will definitely be shopping here again !
I called up and had a great conversation with Cooper. He listened to all my questions and provided great information!nI ordered off their website that afternoon, and got the shoes two days later!nI'm so happy with their service, and will definitely order from them again. I can't wait until I can get into the store in person!nThanks BMRC!
