Our household purchased a new iPhone and watch today. The setting up service provided was shocking. The person was looking after 7 customers at once. Of course unable to do his job.
Apple never answer their phones, service is appalling they fob people off for simple, quick enquiries. Even technical staff take ages to answer the phone. The incompetent staff can't give you an answer how long you will wait for technical support unacceptable. Apple staff you need to improve your attitude, work ethic, customer service you require more training, experience. If a customer asks for a battery replacement under ACL you replace it without question or attitude to give total satisfaction to every customer don't fob them off
The whole team at Apple Doncaster were really friendly and polite. They went above and beyond for me and replaced my screen due to a defect for free despite being out of its original warranty. Special thanks to I think William at the Genius Bar for helping with this. He was super understanding and helpful, I really appreciate it. Thank you so much.
I actually can’t rate the service because i didn’t get any ‍nDespite my confirmed appointment time and instructions to ‘check in with a specialist’ on arrival .. there was nobody at the door to ‘check in’ with, and it appeared a groups of staff specialists?? were huddled and having a chinwag.nWent directly to the Genius Bar and sat down thinking maybe my name would be called at my appointment time, but 20 mins later still nothing. Just left.nDo better Apple. Your products are expensive.
My phone wouldn’t turn on, so I took it to this store. Their so-called “technician” told me the problem was the battery and replaced it. The phone worked for a couple of days.nnIn a couple of days, while we were travelling, the phone died again and wouldn’t charge at all. I was left without a working phone during my trip because of their incorrect diagnosis.nnWhen I returned about a month later, I took the phone back and asked them to properly check the issue. After “checking with the technician,” I was again told the problem was the battery — until I reminded them that they had already replaced it. Only then did they change their story and say the battery was not the issue and that the problem was with the internal board and replacing it would cost us more than the price of a new phone!nnDespite clearly misdiagnosing the problem and selling me a completely unnecessary battery replacement, they refused to refund it. No accountability, no professionalism, and a total waste of money.nnExtremely frustrating experience. Avoid this place if you value your time and money.
